[This is a sticky post, it will be visible in every single page of this thread. It has been published in October 2020.]

Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

That being said, here you can find a post with dxenija's community poll to have better understanding of the situation: CLICK.

I am confused. Which thread should we now use to post the free giveaways? This here or this.? If we really are trying to keep the offers compressed in one thread maybe the other should be asked to be locked then?

Or maybe this one should be locked since the other one has clear rules about giveaways and code dropping.

You misunderstood. I did not want to say that this exact thread should be locked I wanted to say that the one that is not used anymore (whichever that would be) should be locked.

Well, here's another thought then: Just stop using this thread and redirect anyone still posting giveaways to the other. And send code droppers to the ninja thread.
And if they don't want discussions about giveaways in the other thread, you can make a dedicated thread to the discussions about giveaways ^_^

I continue to use this thread as I always did, until someone asks to lock it. Until recently, this thread was used to advertise people about free temporary keys GA from various locations, not a personal code dropping, trading or WTF else thread.
If people are not able to understand the rules, it's their problem, not mine !

But the "rules" are the problem and the reason why another thread has been created. The rules are a bit ambiguent (and include codes as well) and the OP is not longer here to edit the rules in the OP.

Not even the rules, but the "tradition" is that, for years, this thread is a place where everyone can share a deal about temporary free keys. It's only because some new or distracted members started to drop naked codes or asked for them it became a mess.
The purpose of this thread has always been clear for 99% of people.

I AM SO SORRY THAT I ASKED A QUESTION - I HOPE YOU CAN FORGIVE ME!

I will also never again post in this thread anymore and since this has annoyed me so much I won't even post in the other thread as well. Hope you are happy now. No more offers from my side.
