Yes, they are. I would recommend playing both of them. There's going to be a Cat Quest 3, but it's only been announced for Steam.

Sorry. I only check in from time to time. It's been a long time since I bought anything on GOG and my forum activity has waned too. But if we start another forum Mafia game, that will be occasion to check in daily.

I was going to think up some new flavor but I realize we've already gone over them earlier, I think.

Actually checking on the thread, one of the ideas we discussed earlier became Forum Mafia 81, the Work from Home one. I still quite like it. Writing the mafia couple was very fun, plus having them blossom into full blown lesbirb love was even more thrilling (and emotional) to write.

The other one was "police academy" and I think Lift can pull it off better than I can. Plus it's his idea. So maybe I should come up with some different pacifist concept.

Well, I can try to dig up my notes on the Police Academy idea as well.

And I'm not as freqently around here as I used to. So I don't know how well moderating another game will go. But I might give it a try, since you've hosted quite a lot.

How about we start a sign-up thread to see who will play. It will take a while to fill up and until it does we can still dig for ideas and concepts and draw straws who is going to host. ;-)

If you can host a game that would be so much better. At least I'll get the chance to play instead of, well, you know. And yes, the signup thread would be a start. If anything, whoever hosts next will at least know who's ready for fun!

OK. I'll open a sign up thread and leave it open for a while. Let's say February. Then we'll see how many players join, GR has a chance to return from his ban and in March we'll play.

But beware the ides of March!


... And now I've given me the idea of a setup in the Roman senate. Just after the death of Cesar. But that would be a straightforward, classical, non-pacifist setting.

Or a setup during a Conclave to elect the next pope. No killing, just discrediting other Cardinals to get them excluded from the Conclave.
