at first I was wondering, depending how it went, if we'd end up not getting an invite next year, buuuut, at this point, who cares much?

If my ability to read scum can be judged by the practice game... Well, I'm not very confident about winning. I was just brutally bad in that game.

But I'll leave a mark.

It may be a skidmark in the forum's underpants, but I'll do something.

They made it nearly impossible with townies playing in extreme anti-town ways, hopefully games will be better and better as they go on in the championship?

I haven't even read how elimination works, if you're on the losing team are you simply out of the rest of the tournament? I should probably just go read it all a bit more thoroughly, but no time right now!

• 136 different communities are invited to participate. If some decline the invitation, I may opt to allow larger communities an additional nominee.
• 8 Qualifying Games will be played with 17 players each.
• 2 players advance to the Finale Game from each game based on post-game votes.
• 1 Wildcard Game will be played (Wildcards are decided by a jury consisting of former finalists), determining the 17th and final spot in the Finale. Runner-ups in this game will be first in line to replace any finalists who may have to drop out.

Ah yes, I did read that before, thanks for sharing it here. I feel like there should be another round of eliminations instead of going from 17x8 to 17x1. Maybe from 17x8 to 14x2 + 13x2 to 17x1 or somesuch similar.
