RayRay13000: Well...it's a game that's over a year old, so I guess that's something as far as HD Re-releases/remastered games go. Already have it here though, so I'm good.
over a year old :O ? what
Release date 16 September 2005
Gosh, another remake.

Well, it will probably at least have have working widescreen support. And maybe a more modern control scheme? Those camera angle changes always get me lost. But even with these in, I don't think I would want to buy it again.

You've reminded me of the arguments back in 2008 when beta of GOG launched, the 'What's an old game?' ones. "Oh, it's got to be pre-2000 to be old!" ... Oh well.

Why ?

No seriously why ? Out of all the games that could (might) end up having a remake in the future, Fahrenheit is definitely among the last ones I would have ever thought would got one.

I mean the game never was that popular to begin with and Quantic Dream has totally forgotten the existence of PCs since ten years ago, so why now ?

Why? Easy.
Because release those "remastered" editions require basically ZERO work or money for SH, being a money printing machine.
PC Gaming is now a reality, I'm pretty sure a lot of people that played Heavy Rain or Beyond will now buy this game blind, just because is a Quantic Dream title.

Create a remastered game requires a lot of less work compared to create a brand new title. You can do easy money with that.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure this will reach consollt too, maybe bundled with Beyond PS4 remake.

Maybe I wasn't clear earlier. Stuff like Wind Waker HD, Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition, Fahrenheit HD, as well as the older Lucas Arts I'm totally okay with (since they're 2-3 years from original release since getting a re-release of some kind). What I originally meant was that I have some issues with the games was that were originally released less than a year or two ago that are getting the remastered treatment (Tomb Raider 2013, The Last of Us, etc.). Seems a bit redundant to re-release with that kind of treatment when they're not even that old, but I guess it'll make someone who owns an Xbox One or PS4 happy...so there's that.

I'm playing the game at the moment. Really curious about when the game will be jumping the shark :D

And I was actually hoping they'd fix the controls. They're so shitty sometimes (okay, most of the time :D). But well, controller-support is at least a plus there - only problem is I don't have one.
all the remastered graphics wont matter squat until they give pc more useable controls, right now its almost unplayable

GaminggUy45: It's coming out January 29 any chance the GOG version will get it as an update like Outcast?
Is it with the sex scenes or based on the censored U.S. version?

kalirion: Does this version have a more realistic and enhanced sex QTE?
Only with "Oculus VR: Love Edition"

Good point - is this coming to PS4 etc? The could definitely sell some copies from reputation alone, especially if they add trophies to it. They should do the same for Omikron as well.
I'd rather have Heavy Rain in +1080p (and on PC of course!). Unless they pimp the graphics of Fahrenheit to Heavy Rain/Beyond Two Souls, which is quite unlikely for obvious reasons, I'm not too interested in. But I'd probably will buy it just for the sake of proper controller support.

Although the game has many flaws (but at least a bite more actual gameplay than Beyond Two Souls) and the story drops hards in quality after a great beginning, I really like this one and finished it several times.

I also really appreciate this point "Live Graphics Comparison - Players can switch between the updated visuals and the original art assets with the touch of a button." I loved that in Monkey Island and I really appreciate they bundled the original Broken Sword with the DC and they will do the same with Homeworld Remaster. I like that.

According to this post it is uncensored http://www.gog.com/forum/general/fahrenheit_indigo_prophecy_remastered/post3
I actually liked the story ._. And even the ending where SPOILER: robots win and everything is frozen END SPOILER.

Plus the ability to play without the damn letterbox is something that a lot of us wanted =) Now the revamped graphics is not something that excites me though.
At least more people will be able to experience it though. ^^
