I share the feeling. Facebook Dislike.
However, it pains me how I've lately read some articles suggesting that nowadays many employers actually prefer and even expect people to be active in the social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedln etc.), kind of showing how networked they are.
I personally also think they want to be able to see what the people are up to, what are their political beliefs etc... Facebook is a good spying tool also for employers.
Shit, maybe I need to open some Facebook and Twatter accounts, just in case I need to apply for a new job. Sending daily pictures of my lunches to my wife etc. Groan.
Would GOG forums suffice? Isn't this like a social network too? Community? I'm active here, what else is needed?
Oh and I am also active in TeamFortress 2! Sometimes it feels like Facebook. The other day one person complained constantly how an enemy sniper gets headshots to him over and over again, apparently suggesting he is using some kind of cheat. I de-escalated the situation by explaining to him that maybe he has such a huge head that it is hard to miss. I think I've used that line before, when someone complained about the same in TFC years ago.
