Pretty much everyone agrees that the redesign is a complete failure. Gog has stated that they're listening to our feedback and making improvements.

However, these improvements will surely take their time. Meanwhile we have to put up with this absolute broken mess of a website that goes out of its way to hide discounted games (Daily Deal, anyone?!) and makes browsing the catalogue an absolute chore, thanks to everything being displayed as huge tiles that all look alike.

If you hate the new design, please tell gog: https://www.gog.com/wishlist/site/roll_back_to_the_old_design

There are already various threads about the redesign, but I have a feeling that gog underestimates the severity of how awful the new main page and catalogue are unless they have some numbers to back that up. I'm confident that if this gets a few thousand votes, they might change their minds.

So go ahead and VOTE!

While I don't disagree with the sentiment here, this does give me deja vu. I bet if I dug through the community wishlist I could find one of these for the last site update too. If they didn't listen last time, I doubt they will this time.

True. However in retrospect the first overhaul was mainly a visual one: out all the colors, in with the grey. People objected mostly to it being an eyesore.

On the other hand, this latest overhaul does make the website a pain in the ass to use. If users have to rely on the forum and RSS feeds to get their information about new releases and discounts, because the website proper is such a clusterfuck to use, something is seriously wrong.

I could vote and make it 21 but I wont.

I was going to vote, but it's just the community wishlist. You can only vote yes. And I am not bothered by the redesign, so I would have voted no.
While there are certainly several problems with the new design, there are also some improvements (like the review section).

So I didn't vote, because I don't want a complete rollback to the old design. Some adjustments would be very welcome though.
Sure, we could try that method. Like people tried to get the staff at deviantArt or countless other websites to roll back.

I'll give you a protip from someone who has spent a decade or more on the internet: It won't work.

As PaterAlf said, there are indeed issues, but a complete rollback would be a complete non-solution; chances are they've already dumped it out or archived it.

Having been on the internet since 1995, I agree...

Still I I faith in GOG that they'll fix things. It's just a matter of time. Somehow in this regard they're still "good old games"... they rely on very patient customers.

Indeed, time. But who has the patience to wait for a website to be fixed when they should just be playing games instead? :p
