Lifthrasil: Populos? I think there was a temple like this - just not as nicely made out of food.
That's right, the temples in Populous 3 are primitive little huts compared to the advanced architectural achievement that is my asparagus temple!

Exoanthrope: Warlords Battlecry? It looks delicious, by the way.
Thanks, that's a good guess as there are similar temples in that game.

Matewis: Is it perhaps Theocracy? It was posted by someone a couple of months ago in the "What is this game thread". There are aztec like temples that look like your food pyramid and their purpose as far as I know is to generate mana
You go it, it is Theocracy indeed. I chose that game because it's an underrated title I would really like to see on GOG.
Theocracy sadly has fallen into obscurity, there is a wishlist for it on GOG with a measly 97 votes on it:
http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/theocracy

I realize that many people may have never heard about the game which makes things a bit unfair for this thread but I think with the added hint that it had something to do with mana, one could find the game by entering keywords into Google. If you search for "temple, Aztec, mana" and switch to an image search, you'll find this screenshot which leads to the game's wiki page:

I played the demo when it first came out, and it kinda stuck with me. Every now and again I am suddenly reminded of the game.

Anyone else may take my turn - I regrettably don't have a means to upload a drawing right now and I'm too lazy to do something in paint :P Also, I'm playing Mass Effect for the first time :D (its awesome!)

Ah, all this food is making me hungry! Great stuff!

I feel like I've seen it before, but I'm not sure where
Edit: It's just the art style reminded me of Gobliiins; I don't think that's it, though.

It is Gobliins, your turn :)

Ah, nice! I haven't played the second one yet.

I actually have something waiting at home, but I don't get out of work for 6 hours, so if anyone can go sooner you may take my turn.

Or not. :p

I haven't coloured the robes yet, but here it is so you don't have to wait any longer. Edit: Have a digital version instead.

Somebody (not me) needs to make an easily-searchable database of video game symbols. Hell, all symbols. Because I'd use it once or twice.

I enjoy watching your pics grow more complete over time.

Yeah, that symbol should be a give away, it's used prominently in this series.

I still haven't finished the physical colouring on this one. I kind of like that digital robe texture, although it clashes a bit with the coloured pencil.

I noticed that, and thought, "i should really learn to do digital art properly."

Oh, I missed that, so epic!. I've started a playthrough of all 3 Gobliins games a couple months ago, 4 if you include Woodruff and I'm stuck in all 4 games so those playthroughs are all on ice. If I had some of that artsy chocolate, I'd be more motivated to continue those playthroughs.

Awesome! And it looks so familiar but I can't place it...

Alright, I got it: It's a disciple of D'Sparil from Heretic!

Haven't played the game in ages, so I didn't realize it at first

If you ever come to Hungary, I'll paint one just for you :P
But I'll use better quality chocolate next time. This one was delicious, but next to useless for paint >_>

Heretic it is! Probably my favourite game out of the old id shooters. All yours!

Thank you, I kindly accept this offer for the future! Maybe I can even eat it, too :)

Funny thing is, I had a strange dream a couple weeks ago in which I had booked an Easyjet flight from Basel in Switzerland to Budapest but in my dream I missed the train to the airport and then missed the flight. When I woke up, I checked my Easyjet account just to verify I hadn't actually booked some flights in my sleep but I don't sleewalk so I'm sure I don't sleepsurf either, but you never know...
I think the reason for this dream was because I went to Poland a couple months ago and originally had some strange ideas about visiting other countries in the area (Czech Republic, Slovakia & Hungary) so I could cover everything in one campaign instead of flying back and forth from my home but that was way too ambitious and I ended up focusing on just Poland. It's just that when you look at the world map, you start getting inspired and think "ok maybe I can conquer this territory as well as this one there, hmm and this one here looks interesting too" and in the end you go back to a "keep it simple stupid" strategy.
I just bought Hearts of Iron III, maybe I should test out my ill conceived strategies there first...

OK thanks, I'm a bit too tired to draw but I might have something cooked up - one moment please!

Haha! :D
Funny thing is that my brother *did* miss his flight in Switzerland :D
It wasn't his fault though. He was coming from Moscow, and his plane was delayed for 2 hours because of a snowstorm. By the time he arrived to Switzerland, the plane to Budapest has already left -_-
