Ghorpm: A cup of coffee helps a lot. It's Hitman, isn't it?
avatar
F4LL0UT: Of course it is. Absolution to be exact. I thought the fuss about the "hiding in plain sight" trailer would be enough to make everyone instantly recognize the game.
I've never played any Hitman game and since I'm not really interested in it I doubt I've seen any trailer. But a lot of my friends love this game and I did hear a lot of quarrels about it and one argument in this discussion was something like: "Hey, can you imagine a better disguise than eating a donut?" Apparently it was funny enough for me to remember it.

I will upload something soon (or soonish as it may be;)
OK, next one is up!

Very weird guess: Sandbox of God? A rather obscure freeware game but the pic kinda reminds me of it.

Ask Ghorpm. I had totally forgotten there was one until I saw his pic and haven't ever played it myself.

I usually play it on my C64 but I guess you don't have one. You can download any C64 emulator, ROM file and you should be able to play it. PM me if you need more details.

Nobody, really? This situation was first described in a book. A bestseller I might add.

I looked at your image soon after it was posted. It's certainly attractive, though oddly colored; I thought it might be the second Toejam and Earl at first. It's set on their homeworld and the landscape is alien and colorful. Then I noticed that the fish were dead. Blades of Exile is the only polluted river game I can remember, and it didn't seem like that, either. So I didn't guess. I'm easily lost.

edit:
Hmm, book-based games...
Those by Bram Stoker
Those by Jules Verne
The Witchers
Deathtrap Dungeon
I HAVE NO MOUTH
Unsure about Inquisitor

Anyway, don't take the above as guesses. If anyone can use the info to puzzle out your game, though, great!

Well, actually I instantly assumed that it may be a game about Egypt (and the "bestseller" you're referring to is most definitely the Bible) but frankly I don't know which GOG game depicts the plague(s).

The plague where the water turned to blood... ? I can't think of any here either.

Sounds like a boon for the Red Cross. And vampires.

Your assumptions are of course correct. And you still don't know? Now, I'm really shocked! This situation is even on GOG's screenshot! OK, the graphical representation looks a bit lame (you can find a better screenshots) but this event is described on screen with a big "River of blood" title! How can you miss it?
Either people are being really obtuse here as they're so close or... (something I shouldn't mention =P)

- 'Bible Talk' for $400

- The 'River of Blood' is one of several plagues that may be bestowed on you and your people (for angering God) in this city-building game.

- What is Pharaoh?

Psalm 105:29 He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.

mistermumbles: - What is Pharaoh?
Actually it is Cleopatra: Queen of the Nile because this plague (along with hailstorm, frogs and locusts) was not present in the original game but it's just an insignificant detail ;) Pharaoh is good enough as an answer. In if you don't believe check the sixth screenshot: http://www.gog.com/game/pharaoh_cleopatra
