I prefer playing in full screen and on my 2nd monitor I do other stuff in between at times. :)
I like the option to alt-tab out of my games, so I usually go with borderless fullscreen windowed. If borderless is out of the question, then fullscreen for most games (especially those that use the mouse for camera control) and windowed for games that would not look good on a big screen (like old games without high resolution).
Definitely full screen borderless. I'm not tryna see how much time is going by while I play games.

Perhaps if you all stopped fucking alt-tabbing out of your games just to see if you've had a Facebook like, or some idiot has added you to their Snap Numpty, or made a pointless post on twatter. Just PLAY the fucking the game and quit wondering whats happening elsewhere.

Full fucking screen, every single time. Why in god's name anyone would play in windowed mode is nuts. It breaks the immersion, and can sometimes break the control if the window loses focus.

You really do like swearing, don't you? ;) Anyway, there are other reasons for alt-tabbing out of games, such as getting stuck due to unclear game design, bugs or glitches, or the game suddenly requiring you to write down passwords or something without providing in-game solutions, and you don't have pen and paper at the ready, or the game giving you a reason to research something on the internet, or someone calling you to ask for some info or telephone number etc., etc. It's just quicker than quitting and restarting the game, and some games don't even allow you to quit and save whenever you want or need to. I don't even use social media myself (apart from forums), and I see plenty of reasons why someone (including me) might want to alt-tab out of a game.

Fullscreen as a rule except if I can only get the game running in windowed mode or if alt-tab is broken.
Borderless Fullscreen, always. I've stopped playing games if they were exclusively Fullscreen, annoying as hell. I use the Borderless Gaming app to make Windowed mode's into Borderless Fullscreen if the option isn't there now.

Leroux: Don't know about folks, but personally I don't like gaming in windowed mode, unless maybe it's something simple like Minesweeper with minimal graphics and immersion that you can play on the side while you're passing time or taking a short break from work or so. Usually I always go fullscreen, or borderless window using the full screen at best. I don't like to see parts of the desktop when I'm in-game. It goes so far that I'm (unreasonably) annoyed if a game starts in windowed mode and I have to set it to fullscreen.
That's me too. It breaks immersion. I love immersive games. Minesweeper and free cell are for desperate times only. :)
if i weren't so attach to stuff, i would still be stuck to fullscreen since nothing else to do but i have so many stuff to check out that i need to always play windows mode, haven't found any good borderless version, seems to be a pain in performance from the company

GOG games, i've played mostly quite old games r stuck in fullscreen, cant change at all, so i have to find time to play

if i had more screen then it be fullscreen on 1

Fullscreen only. Why should I use only a portion of the screen?
Huh, looks like the vast majority is fullscreen, which is what I expected, tbh. I like the sound of Borderless Windowed mode, might have to try it out on some newer games.
I play in fullscreen, unless there is some technical issue with the game. In that case I use Borderless Gaming to play in a fullscreen window. For example I now play a game called Capsized that has some framerate issues in fullscreen, but is much more stable in window mode.
