WBGhiro: Wasn't the first game translated by Atlus? why is NISA the publisher now?
NIS America and Europe published all of the games after Disgaea Hour of Darkness, aka the first one.
You can contact them here if you want:

http://store.nisamerica.com/contact-us

I just sent them a quick suggestion about a GOG release.

Heh, well it would be nice to see a new GOG game that's full and doesn't have any DLC.
I guess it's become pretry clear why we haven't heard much of anything. The port is terrible:

Fishsticks, and here I thought I was going to finally play a PS2 game I missed out on.

Christ, is it really that god damn hard to port old console games to PC? Emulation has already done this.

Not related to Disgaea, but "official" ports in general; this makes me wonder why the emulation with Sega Genesis games in Steam fall short compared to non-legitimate emulators. Played Gunstar Heroes on Steam as soon as I got it legit, and could immediately tell the sound was WAY off compared to how it's supposed to sound on a real console and Genesis GX.

Yeah playing metal slug on pc isn't all that great either. Massive slowdown/sound issues at times.

Is it slower or faster than what it's supposed to be compared to a real Neo-Geo? Metal Slug in the arcade (the whole series, actually) always had slowdown issues and the first game is especially known to have some audio issues as well (for example, the sound lags behind at times, which is normal on actual hardware).

I really wouldn't know, It was ms3 though. The slowdown might have been intentional it made the game feel metal sluggish though. (Sorry :p)

Yeah, I had problems with slowdown in the Sonic Genesis games I got from DotEmu which I believe use the same setup as the Steam ones. Meanwhile, the Kega Fusion emulator runs them like a champ.
