Or can you still buy movies on gog they are just hidden somewhere?
Eh.
[Edit] Actually, I was wrong the first time, the section still exists: https://www.gog.com/movies
But some are listed as games and not showing there.
See https://www.gog.com/forum/general/where_did_the_movies_go/

You're not the first to ask, as pointed out by Cavalary.

The movies section still exists, but they are hiding it and refusing to issue a statement. I asked several times via forums and discord.
As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, GOG (Good Old Games) primarily focused on selling DRM-free video games rather than movies. While they might offer some related content like game soundtracks or documentaries, they didn't have a substantial movie library. It's possible they've expanded their offerings since then, but I recommend checking their website for the most up-to-date information regarding movie availability.

Thanks, ChatGPT.

How do I make a GOG Mix?

maxpoweruser: How do I make a GOG Mix?
Copy all your GOG games to a harddrive and then do this.

SargonAelther: Thanks, ChatGPT.
I don't even understand why the forum is flooded with such ChatGPT (I refuse to call it AI) bots.
Is it just because this forum is so outdated and badly done, that it is an easy target? Or is there some special idea behind it...

I'm not sure it's certain that gog is any more a victim than anywhere else. These types of posts are occurring all over the world and all over the worldwide web, including social media sites with the most up to date security protocols they can muster.

Most likely, the users of the bot programs are testing the waters to see how "believable" their bots' AI-written posts are to real humans.

Then, later on, the users of the bot programs will try to use that information in order to improve the believability of their bots' future AI-written posts which are promoting scams, in order to try and fool more people into not recognizing that they are scams, and therefore successfully fooling them into signing up for those same scams.

Most humans do not suffer from a post-September 2021 amnesia, so the bot makers have big problem lol.

Also even if chat GPT could use current data, advising us to visit a website we're already on in not very sensible either lol.
GOG had movies?

What's so special about September 2021?

Basically Chat GPT's knowledge ends at September 2021. It has not been updated beyond this point yet. So whenever you ask it about current information it always confesses that it has no knowledge beyond this point.

So if AlbertHart's post didn't seem odd enough already for some people, this is how the bot truly truly ousted itself.

The account has 0 games too lol.

Mr.Caine: GOG had movies?
Indeed it does: https://www.gog.com/movies
It used to have more, such as the Angry Video Game Nerd movie. Thankfully I managed to grab it before it got delisted.

Steam also used to have movies. I have the Postal movie there. I wish GOG had it...
