deesklo: How much the CCP is paying you, GOG?
Many people feel they are trying to protect future profits from the Microtransactions in the Cyberpunk Multi player game as China is a huge market for stuff like that.

Hi GOG

Can you please remove the Wolfenstein games from your site. By doing so you are offending supporters of a party that throws people it doesn't like in concentration camps, monitors and restricts it citizens, carries out genocides against ethnic groups and executes people without trial.

Yours sincerely

A Gamer.
Expressing your disappointment is one thing, even with (a bit of) harsh language. :)
But some (more like a vocal hand-full) of you/us/whatever are taking this whole thing to a new level, fuck.:P
I'm not saying to stop expressing you oppinion, but you know, calm down, at least a bit. :)

Most of gog's staff didn't have any say in those desicions (or even knew about it) and you're wishing them horrible deaths and whatnot (again, only a small number).

As someone who's been a loyal GOG customer since 2015, this PR stunt was not only an epic failure, but a colossal betrayal as well. GOG's DRM-free policy made them look very "pro-customer", but this recent dumping of Devotion was anything but. Seriously, look on their Twitter page, where they promoted Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. It's a case of hilarious-yet-sad irony where they're promoting a game based on toppling an authoritarian regime, yet they caved to one themselves all because of a little Easter egg (the "Xi the Pooh" joke). As for the post, it has been ratioed to the Nth degree, and rightfully so.

2019's Winter Sale marked the last time I bought anything from here, and it looks like it'll stay that way. As someone else in this board said earlier, how the mighty have fallen.

Vote with your wallets, folks.

I've sent an email via their support center. I hope they'll listen. This decision is infuriating.

I'm not going to buy any game on the site for the duration of the current sales (I usually buy heaps and I have around 540 games from gog) and perhaps further down. I'll definitely not buy Cyberpunk from this shop.

I hope others will do the same.

Vote for Devotion on the Community Wishlist (1473 votes already and RISING FAST, add yours!)

LordJF: Yeah, we should all send messages to Red Candle Games on their social media platforms that there's demand for the game to be released outside of Taiwan even if GOG refuses to take it. I hope they could host the game on their own site and sell it directly.

Fang162: I agree 100%. And, I'll add that if CDPR continues to bend the knee, I will not be purchasing anymore games from GOG. Ironic, really, since there's a major sale going on here. Oh well.
I have been spending a stupid amount of money here over the last years. Really. GOG messed up some stuff every once in a while, but at the end of the day, it's the biggest DRM-free store with titles from major publishers.

But if GOG doesn't agree to release Devotion here, I can't top up my wallet funds anymore in good conscience. I just can't. I have 22 eurodollars left in my wallet. Those will have to last until GOG releases Devotion. No, I haven't bought Cyberpunk yet (which I was planning to do once it's patched), so if GOG doesn't release Devotion, it'll probably take 5 years or so before Cyberpunk is sufficiently discounted for me to be able to afford it with my 22 eurodollars. Winter Sale? Yeah, guess I'll have to be super frugal now, probably can't buy anything now or I'll never be able to afford Cyberpunk.

It's the same reason I can't give money to Blizzard, even if they offered their entire catalog DRM-free for a single buck. GOG, please, release Devotion.

This almost causes me tears (loyal customer for 10 friggin years!), but I can't look away this time.

What an an extremely cowardly decision, a very disappointing attitude.

"After receiving many messages from gamers"
Yeah, sure. Even on the chinese language section of your own forums :
https://www.gog.com/forum/general_zh#1608127838
No one cared about the release of this game.

And, for sure, right after the catastrophic Cyberpunk 2077 launch on old-gen consoles, you needed this to regain prestige, to show how you support game creators and gamers :

This is a sad decision. Let the users decide whether they want to buy it by listing it in the store - don't kow-tow to the mob.

I have voted in the wishlist and will purchase it on release if it is listed at GoG.com, even though it's a genre that doesn't usually interest me.

Cowardly decision by GOG.

darthspudius: Is anyone else surprised by the lack of mods floating around? Taking bets they're going to do one big sweep and ban most of us.

I doubt they'd even notice this thread. They're so woefully under-staffed they're still in "all hands on deck" damage control for the very high number of Cyberpunk refunds. Over the past few days I've tried to help some people who requested refunds for Cyberpunk 2077 then started new threads asking why there's literally nothing (no response at all) from GOG. Up until now, the advice was "PM a blue mod" and one or two mods were posting on some refund related threads trying to help. The latest news is the sheer number of people wanting refunds is so overwhelming that even "PM me any time" moderators have actually disabled their chat...
