Hi everybody. I'm experiencing low fps soon after the first startup screen with the CD Projekt red logo. From 140, fps drop to 10 and keep that value in all the circumstances (in game, in menu and so on). I've the latest nvidia drivers installed and I've already run the repair tool once. Here my build:
i7 8700
rtx 3070 gigabyte gaming oc
16gb ram
ssd samsung EVO Plus m.2 500gb

While the game's running, I see no bottleneck or saturation anywhere.
Could you help me with this please? game is unplayable as you could imagine-

Thanks for replying. I can change whatever the setting you mentioned, the fps are always the same. DLSS,Raytracing, no matter what I change, it's just stuck at 10 fps.

Yet, I don't think it's a GPU load issue neither a bad optimization one. It must be something in the drivers or strictly related to the game....

Unfortunately, your rig is way too old. It is somewhat higher than minimum specs, hence you actually can get 38 FPS, but it is way below recommended specs. After current GPU craze dies down, you might want to consider assembling a new rig.

I have exactly the same issue

i7 7700k
RTX 3080
32GB RAM

I set everything to low and off if possible on the lowest resolution possible and I still get 30-40 fps. When I max everything out on 1440p an RT/DLSS I get 25-40 fps. This is so ridiculous

I also installed latest drivers from nvidia.

I thought minimun was 780 and recommended was 1060

I don't own the game yet but I've been reading a lot about its performance for when I do get it, so I can't test it first-hand. From what I'm gathering, however, the settings can be finicky, even when you're well above the minimum requirements. Rather than turning everything down, experiment with only a few. I made a thread for tips that might help.

Strange. I have Ryzen 3700X, RTX 2070 Super, 32 GBs of RAM (but usage never exceeded 10 GB, I think), and game runs flawlessly at high/ultra settings, encountered no slowdowns or visual glitches whatsoever.
Could it be that it works way better on AMD rigs than on Intel?..

He has a 1070, and recommended is a 1660S. A 1070 is 8% faster than a 1660S.

I'm getting the same thing too

R7 1700 @3.9GHZ
RTX 3080
32GB RAM
Latest NVidia drivers

Whatever settings I try, I can't get the game above ~45 fps on 1440p. Doesn't look like a cpu bottleneck because the max any of the cores runs is 80% and the gpu usage just goes down as I decrease the settings. Framerate still caps at 45fps.

Hopefully things get fixed quickly, at least its playable.
