WildHobgoblin: Any idea about their stance on DRM? The FAQ don't say, and I don't want to go rummage through a million comments...
From the comments:
Question: "Which options will be available redeeming our game once the campaign is over?
Specifically which DRM-free options such as direct download, GOG, or ich.io as examples :)"

Answer: "Short answer, I don't know! That's just because I can't guarantee approval on things like GOG, though obviously we want it there, and I don't see that being a problem. There won't be any DRM baked into the game on any platform though, because it's a complete waste of time."

Nick Bounty and the Dame with the Blue Chewed Shoe
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pinheadgames/nick-bounty-and-the-dame-with-the-blue-chewed-shoe/description

A fantastic adventure game by Pinhead Games. And they're offering it DRM-free.
If you played the previous Nick Bounty games, you know what to expect.

"Nick Bounty and the Dame with the Blue Chewed Shoe is a comedic spoof on classic film noir detective movies as well as a narrative driven adventure game inspired the classic adventure games of Lucas Art and Telltale games. It's a little bit Maltese Falcon, a little bit CSI, and a little bit Naked Gun. The story follows detective Nick Bounty and his quest to be taken seriously as a real detective. As the case unfolds, he becomes entangled in an absurd mystery that threatens to end his life... and his newly hired partner's too!"

The Uncertain: Light at the end

The Uncertain is an episodic story-driven adventure game set in a post-apocalyptic world. The human race were wiped off the face of the Earth, and robots have come to take their place. The first episode of The Uncertain is available on Steam. Playing for a robot named RT, you can follow the story of a small resistance group that found out the truth about where did everyone disappear and tried to help the few survivors. The second episode of the game will feature the same events seen from a different perspective.

The good thing about this is the very cheap entry point: "Early bot" option gives both episode 1 and 2 keys for only three dollars!

The bad thing is (not counting episodic release) that it's Steam-only for the time being. Although in this case you can't blame the developers, as they explained in the comment section:

"We tried to publish on GOG with Episode 1, but they wouldn't consider it somewhy. We will definitely try it with Episode 2 too but we cannot make any certain announcements as we don't know for sure yet."
Henry Mosse and the Wormhole Conspiracy

A coming-of-age point-and-click adventure game featuring a galaxy of oddball characters, ridiculous conundrums and cosmic evil!

Realms Beyond: Ashes of the Fallen

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ceresgames/realms-beyond-ashes-of-the-fallen/

A party based CRPG with turn-based combat on a hex grid with a ruleset based on OGL 3.5e (i.e., D&D 3.5). Looks fantastic. Just hoping it will have a better story than Temple of Elemental Evil!
I rarely back computer games on Kickstarer these days, but Realms Beyond was on my radar for some time now.

The goal is high, but it looks like they did a lot with the game before Kickstarer (videos of gameplay are available). So I think crpg fans should consider baking it.

Also, from the comments section, they did ask some DRM platform to host their DRM free build, but folks from that platform said they need to play the game first. That means game will be on GOG if GOG likes the game.
Yep, the developers cannot confirm whether they'll be able to offer Early Access on a DRM-free platform, but the final release will definitely be DRM-free. I can't imagine why GOG wouldn't release the game here as it looks like an old school CRPG fan's dream come true.

Btw, doesn't hurt to vote for it on the wishlist.

Starmaker: addon:
there is in fact some irony in me talking about food safety: namely, that the FDA analogue in Russia is almost solely a tool of political oppression. We call it punitive sanitation (sarcastically, of course; the government claims politics and import bans don't even correlate, which of course they do).
Did your country legalize gay marriage? OMG your meat has gay cooties, ban it!
Were patients in a hospital or toddlers in a kindergarten poisoned via food (supplied by a private producer under an embezzlement-enabling contract, and unsuitable for consumption even if sans e.coli)? Why, sounds like an excuse for a gang of neo-Nazis to assault Southerners at the market! And let's award those neo-Nazis $160k in presidential grant money for their efforts in consumer protection!
(A native citizen of Russia raped a girl? Lock up the Vietnamese migrants in concentration camps! - not food-related, but same logic)

(I have shaddim's racist ass on ignore, so I don't know what they posted immediately above)

Classy. You can mock the spammer without coming down to their level. Better yet, just ignore them.

If you must reply though, don't quote the shit they're spamming, it only gives them what they want.

Idk, it's bit annoying ignoring spammer, he took the forum over. This was bit rewarding, mocking him...

I mean, all you're doing is invoking a trope which paints trans people as undesirable, so congrats.
