I have heard a lot about the Xcom series, but none of them really catch my eye. So none of the old classics for me. But Last Door 2 will hopefully be as enjoyable as the first game is.

I will take that as a yes. I will go see if I can hunt down the code. The game is very charming, and the ending was unexpected. Plus you get to eat lots of things to grow bigger, so much fun. :-)

I tend to shoot for games with historical significance, along with the good and the very bad. So they all have value.
Haven't ever played through the original X-Com, but it's been very well spoken of for years and years now. Looking forward to it, even though I know I'm going to die a lot.

It is indeed. I was put off by the graphics, but someone gifted me the game so I felt that I had to try it and I really enjoyed it. It has a nice atmosphere and you can see the Poe/Lovecraft inspiration.

Exactly, I didn't get it due to the graphics. Let's just say the last 2 2d pixel art horror games I bought didn't impress me.
I might take a second look sometime though.

Yeah, I like games where you grow by eating stuff. An old flash game called Fishy, and an indie game called The Wonderful End of the World come to mind. I've spent countless hours with those ones.

It is nice to get some new old classics here, I do feel it will be another example of a bigger publisher coming here, leaving us table scraps left over from Steam, then never coming back again. But who knows, but I very much doubt we will see any of the more recent games from the publisher.

I am not sure I classed the game as a horror, but I did enjoy it. It is short and simple, but I still liked it. If you are not sure maybe wait for a sale, just in case it is not for you.

Then you will like the ending. You start off really small, but you get bigger and bigger as the game goes on.

You are very welcome. Me and my partner had lot's of fun with it, so hopefully you will as well, it is a really charming little game.
