Wow lot of action here today, fun!

Glad to see I wasn't the only one getting lost in SS2.

Yezemin: Good afternoon, DD! *even bigger return hug*

My week is off to a good start indeed. I'm on vacation.^^
avatar
ddickinson: Of course you are, sorry, I forgot.

I am glad to hear you are having a great start to your much deserved vacation.

AgentBirdnest: Cool! I hope you'll like it, after all the time I've spent hyping it up :-p
Remember, losing is part of the fun! ... No, I'm serious... (<-- that is one of the random tips when you start a game :-))
avatar
ddickinson: I am sure I will have lots of fun. And don't worry, I won't mind dying. It will just be some silly fun with my partner. I know much of the game comes down to luck, so I will just have fun killing you all off once I start naming characters. :-)
There's always easy mode. Even though it's still pretty hard and I've never tried it.

The problem comes when standing in certain hallways damages you and you don't know where to go or what to do.

Painted_Doll: Why do i see my previous avatar in my posts ?
It's a bug. It took about a week for my avatar to change....

Yezemin: What? That can't be good. You must be sick. *get better hugs*

Aren't we all? Special ability: having backlogs.
I hope not! ô__ô *big thank you hug anyway*

And yeah, very true.

Low quality Peant Butter.
I'm gonna go play some games now. Have fun everyone!

How dare you.
Have fun though.

Yes \o/ I'm not alone :-)
I'm not sure what it is about those Shock games... I never got lost in Deus Ex, and that was full of tunnels, rooms, hallways, and vents. *shrug*

Don't think so... same brand as usual, and even tried a second brand to be sure.
I've been losing the taste for it since Friday, but since yesterday, it's just gross :-\

I get lost everywhere. :D
I was recently playing Uncharted Golden Abyss which is very linear.
I just don't see the path forward try to backtrack and go to youtube. :P

omega64: I don't remember, once you exit the first you get a screen where you can choose the next sector. You'll see how many there are at that point.
Thank you. I will take a look tonight. But I think I will stick to normal for now.

avatar
AgentBirdnest: I can't wait to die under your command :-p
And to answer the question you asked Omega - there are 8 sectors. There is also a secret sector that you can find, by fulfilling certain requirements, and if you are lucky. (I don't remember how though.)
Maybe I will name one of them after you this evening. But I can't rename them during the game on the regular version, and you suggested I stick to the regular one at first. So, what rank would you like to be? Captain?
For anyone interested in the railroad games here are a couple of goodies:
The first Railroad Tycoon game for free and a demo of Railroads!.
http://www.2kgames.com/railroads/downloads.html

Another interesting thing is that GOG seems to have RT3 running on newer OS's.
I never bought it on steam because they claim it's only for XP or older. :-)

Clear cut case of peanut butter overload.
Take it easy for a while.

Good find for those train driving fans among you. I wonder why they did not include them as a free bonus here to entice people to get their games? A few other games offer the older versions, even if they are free elsewhere.

I had a lot of trouble with Unreal (the very first one.) I remember running around for hours in one particular level, and seeing the same spot over and over and over again... then finally realizing "oh, there was a door here?" :-|

Unreal is unplayable for me.
Can't even get past the first level.
Both due to level design and sheer boredom.
