I tried (via Galaxy) and that doesn't work ; even if it actually downloads some stuff...

I hope this is not all that we'll be getting from 2K though. Bioshock (which is already DRM-free on Humble) and Civilization would be nice to see here, along with a few others...

Nothing for me. Although I do hear that Bioshock is a fun game, so maybe I will get those if they come here. But I doubt it. I am betting this is another give GOG scraps and never any of the more recent games type thing, just like most of the other bigger publishers. :-(

Yes, the PC version and the Mac version both work for me. But I don't use Galaxy, just the good old downloader.

Yeah the problem here is galaxy, but you can download and install the games via browser or downloader just fine. They even have normal gamepages if you delete the "_coming_soon" part of the gamepages gog shows by default.

If Bioshock gets here you should definitely play it. It's great for about 2 thirds of the game.
Just don't bother with Bioshock 2, the Steam version is quite broken.

Very nice to see those games here, I have most of the ones I want but will have to look them over more carefully.
Had a nice quiet weekend with the neighbors bringing me more food than I could eat, I just don't have the heart to tell them I'm quite a good cook. They seem to think single guys have to live on peanut butter sandwiches. :-)

It's even DRM-Free on disc. Or at least seems like it.

There are others games that are DRM-Free elsewhere, or that have Linux support elsewhere, that are not on GOG. We seem to be the third class store, especially as GOG does not stand up for their customers and just let publishers do what they want. :-(

And yes, many if not most of the big publishers hate us. They just want to cash in on games they have already milked on Steam. That is why we get no newer games. If they really values us we would get more of the newer games, especially as some are DRM-Free elsewhere, just as you said.

That's odd I tried to download JULIA and it seems the files are there, haven't tried to install yet though.
Today's releases are great though I own most of them already.
