ddickinson: You are very welcome. i had to tone down my review for Gone Home as that game really annoys me after seeing so many people throw so much hate and abuse around when defending it.

I did have a nice Easter weekend, thank you. My partner had the Monday off as well, so we had a nice long three-day weekend to just relax at home and spend the whole morning in bed and just do lots of fun things. And this week we finally find out about a few things that has been on our minds for a while now. And I also have to go for some more tests for my health, but that is just hopefully routine stuff.

*lots of big hugs*
Ho... bah. Pluck the haters...
Nice sounding weekend indeed :-)
I wish the best for the good news you're expecting, and for your tests results as well !

omega64: I really disliked Among the sleep, movement felt strange and the environments just weren't interesting to me.
I felt the same, it also did not feel like I was controlling a toddler, which I thought was the whole point. It was just not for me, but I am glad Owl and Agent liked it. I think I will stick to my lovely Outlast. :-)

zeogold: But is Amanita responsible for this? Isn't that Humble's decision?

...........ouch. I had no idea.
Of course Amanita is responsible. They are the publishers/developers. Humble can't force them to put things on sale or be part of a bundle. They were just screwing over GOG users, like many developers/publishers seem to do.

AgentBirdnest: *phew* ... Glad it's on the house, because I have no idea what "coins of the realm" are :-|

My papercraft game? Errrrr ',',',,','',',','',',',':-| It will be here on Friday... Friday, 2034 :-p (Give me a break, this is the first time I've heard about it ^^)

*return hug*
They are coins of the kingdom. They come in gold, silver, copper, and a number of other metals. It is mainly an older medieval kind of term, although it is still in use sometimes.

Well, maybe you should think about making one. Even if it is just for a hobby. You are very good at it, and I am sure you could come up with a lovely story. Or maybe not a game, but a stop motion animation? All you would need is a camera and your lovely paper skills. And some patience, of course. :-)

*big return hug*

AgentBirdnest: Well, to be fair, you were playing as a two-year-old :-p

omega64: Aside from that. :P
The screen bobbing.
Ha... Too much bobbing is annoying, yeah. In any game. I nearly threw up when I tried to play STALKER. It was awful. Had to install a mod to keep the screen steady :-p

Yes, sad little people they are. I think due to the game's subject matter people used that as a weapon against all those who hated it. But I guess that would not work on me, so I get to hate it all I like. :-)

It was, I am actually feeling the best I have in quite some time, not just health wise but overall as well. Hopefully it is a nice sign that things are starting to ease off a little finally.

Thank you. I am quite excited about the new for the first thing, it could mean some big changes. And once things are sorted I will let you know via chat just like I promised. :-)

If it makes you feel any better, it was actually in the midst of a game with the children used to teach them which finger is which.

Ha... Interesting idea. Unfortunately I lack patience (and skill, for that matter ^^)... I don't know the first thing about making a game... and... yeah, 2034 sounds good ;-)

What about the nice stop motion animation? All you would need is your wonderful paper craft skills, and a camera (preferably with a tripod to ensure stability. I think you have more than enough skill for that. Imagine those stop motion flames growing bigger and bigger. But I guess the lack of patience could be a problem. :-)

Anything you do will be better than Dominique Pamplemousse.

Haaaa... Yes, that makes me feel better. I just watched the video of it, and while it still feels quite weird, it makes much more sense now :-)

(that guy is plucking awesome)

If anything, it only shows how pure of heart he was that he could do this without even thinking about the whole middle finger thing.

It's a very interesting idea... maybe, at some point. For now, I need to finish my current projects that are gathering dust :-p

Of course. Like I said, you could treat it as a hobby. Start small, then who knows, maybe you will make something great and you will become rich and famous. Then you let it all go to your head, you get involved with drink, drugs, loose women, and you push aside all your old friends for your new fake friends who are only after your money. And then once it has all gone, when everything has fallen apart and you are penniless, you can still come back here and we will forgive you. :-)
