j0ekerr: Oh, they're all the same in that respect. They offer the same kind of after sales service. Within the same amount of time.
Honestly, it seems they all get together and agree not to step on each other's toes.
I'm sure they do to some extend, yes...
avatar
zeogold: ...so you haven't played Samorost 2?!
*disappointment*
avatar
ddickinson: Nope, and to be honest, after what the developers did to GOG users I don't intend to support their games.
Wait...what'd they do? I've always loved the company.

AgentBirdnest: Good morning, Kinny! *big hug*
Thanks for all the reviews... what do we owe you? :-p
I've only played Lumino City (not finished though) and Among the Sleep. I enjoy/ed both of them. Lumino City in particular, because I'm a bit of a paper nerd ;-)
Good morning!

Well for everyone else it is 12 coins of the realm. But for the lovely people of Fred, it is on the house. :-)

Yes, I know you and Owl likes Among the Sleep, that is why I mentioned there are those who enjoyed the game. It was just nor for me, there was just too much wrong with it for me. But Lumino City is lots of fun, and I love the whole stop motion element of it. So when can we expect your paper craft game?

*big hug*

omega64: There are companies that do that bother to come by to fix it? O_o
Actually yes, within 48 hours. I had it happen twice, a couple of years ago. The break-down of the service was only a couple hours of no service, but the techs still came.
(And had to find something to fix, because otherwise they'd have had to charge me)

Back in the 128kbps days. My connection wasn't stable, so I phoned them a lot to ask what the hell was going on. They sent technicians who replaced the cable-modem, which solved nothing, but they still showed up.

At the day of release of Botanicula they included all or at least most of their games including Botanicula in a Humble Bundle.

I'm not sure how I feel about this.

Hello, lovely Owl!

No, I hate giving reviews for the most part, I just felt like sharing a few opinions on the games I have played.

I am doing very good, thank you.

Sorry to read that you did not have the best of weekends. You know where my chat is if you need to talk or rant. *big comforting hug*
Ho... yes, it was daylight-savings time yesterday, so here it's 12:09 now :-)
Sharing your opinions on games you played is already great, thanks for that !! **big thank you hug**
Did you spend a nice Easter weekend ?
Ho... yes ! I know... thanks for the offer :-) **big thank you hug with Easter chocolate snails**

I really disliked Among the sleep, movement felt strange and the environments just weren't interesting to me.

They tricked GOG users to pre-order one of their games thinking it was a good deal, then on release day put it in a bundle on Humble on the BTA tier and also included extras (such as the soundtrack) that GOG does not get, even those who supported them with pre-ordering. Meaning you could get it all, with extras not on GOG, for just $1. They the screwed GOG users over again with Samorost 2. They sold the game for just $0.99 one day after releasing the game here, meaning yet again GOG users pay much more.

....criminy.
But is Amanita responsible for this? Isn't that Humble's decision?

I can't imagine HB doesn't need permission to pull stuff like that.

You are very welcome. i had to tone down my review for Gone Home as that game really annoys me after seeing so many people throw so much hate and abuse around when defending it.

I did have a nice Easter weekend, thank you. My partner had the Monday off as well, so we had a nice long three-day weekend to just relax at home and spend the whole morning in bed and just do lots of fun things. And this week we finally find out about a few things that has been on our minds for a while now. And I also have to go for some more tests for my health, but that is just hopefully routine stuff.

*lots of big hugs*

Well, to be fair, you were playing as a two-year-old :-p
