JudasIscariot: Trying Pertubator now...

CarrionCrow: I've listened to a bit of their stuff. It's not bad, just tended to be a little bit slower than Carpenter.
See, this is the kind of speed I am rather used to: Dive Drive

That definitely works. =) And it's Danganronpa. Forces are conspiring to make me interested enough in that to buy it. -laughs-
Hi all ! High five :P
Home from having lunch with the folks, enjoying a cold beer. Trying to decide whether I feel like playing a bit more of J.U.L.I.A. or whether I'd rather just nap. Or maybe study the space in front of me for a couple hours. ;)

I hope you're all doing well!

All those options can work, so long as you're enjoying yourself. (Although, the last one doesn't sound very exciting...)

Can't complain here, aside from the inexplicable snowstorm.
Just got home and saw all that blue text, thought they were finally shutting us down. :-)

Not quite. ;)

How's your day going?

OK so far, doctors appointment, some groceries and now a bit of lunch.
You doing OK today?

Yeah, it's not too bad today. Looking at my latest stack of games, still watching Fargo. That's about it.

Your mention of Fargo came as a perfectly-timed reminder to me. I love the movie, and I was also convinced the series was going to be a horrible disappointment. I saw the first few episodes of season 1 a good while back and was really impressed (they really nailed the general feeling of the movie from what I did see) and then completely forgot about it. The lady and I were lamenting over the weekend about the fact that we've pretty much run out of teevee that we are interested in enough to watch together as an activity (there are plenty of crap shows that make excellent background television, but actually committing my attention to a show seems like more effort than it's worth more often than not... I'm much worse with books, as I read incredibly slowly, so I just don't have time for things I don't expect to be "required reading..." Not sure what my excuse is with tv. :) I hadn't thought of Fargo in a good while, and never did convince the lady to watch it with me for the very small handful of days that I kept up with it on (netflix or hulu... i don't even know... we have those instead of cable, but even those are too much for me to keep up with... not enough brain space.) I'm pretty sure this is one that she'll get as excited about as I am, once she's seen a bit.

I'm having the laziest damn day. Sarge was napping, I was all like, "I can do whatever I want." So I fired up J.U.L.I.A. to have a bit of gaming fun. First puzzle showed up within seconds, my head spun and screamed, "PLEASEDON'TDOTHISTOMERIGHTNOW" and I reminded myself, hey, I can do whatever I want right now, so I don't have to think this hard. Shut the game down and have been looking at stupid stuff on the internet and relaxing out back in spells with the pup ever since. I'm a space cadet today, but I don't feel so bad about it. :)

Good moaning.

I got a letter from my phone company today.

12 more bucks every month, from next month onwards.

They also inform me that after they're done I'll have to clean them and say I like it.

Yay for good timing. =) (For once.) -laughs-

I'm just about through season 1 at the moment, with season 2 sitting in the other room waiting to be watched.

TV's a weird one for me, too. With me, I have to worry about it putting me to sleep. If it gets boring, I'm out.

Hey, nothing wrong with that. Doesn't sound like you're neglecting anything important, so why not just look at random things online and relax?

Good evening. =)

Yeah...that's a lot of crap. Had that problem with the TV service at the house. Ended up chopping it in half since they wanted to be such greedy pricks about everything.

Indeed. And Vodafone has some of the worst rep.
I'm currently looking at other service providers. I'll threaten them a little first. See if I can shake anything out of them. But iIf they insist on being pricks, I'm quitting inmediately.

I'll even drop the land line if I have to.

So, updates are over, and I got rid of the Windowx X notification.
But I'm thinking... Windows 8 was a disaster, because it tried to turn your pc into a tablet. Microsoft acknowledged that was a mistake and gave us back a proper PC desktop. But... reviews have not been stellar.

I need to actually google how to stop the Windows 10 notification. I am basically hanging onto 7 as long as I possibly can before it's too late to secure a free upgrade. It's starting to look from the direction of things like DirectX that a Windows upgrade may be necessary if I want to keep up-to-date with pc gaming in the years to come, but I'm not taking a chance on a new Windows OS until I absolutely have to.
