penumbren: Small update: My grandfather is staying overnight for observation and had/is going to have at least a couple of cat scans. Apparently the first one showed a new dark spot on his brain, which means something happened between his stroke in November and what happened today.... we're trying not to worry about that, too. We'll find out more tomorrow, very hopefully. Thanks muchly to everyone who's helped me stay calm(ish) today - I really, really appreciate it. *hugs to all*
You're very welcome. Just hope there's nothing too severe so he can be out of the hospital and back home soon.
superstande: mmm... sounds interesting though, battletech :)
Just got up... another one of my 'naps' ... was supposed to sleep no more than a few hours, preferably one: instead slept about 9 hours... Well, that's life I guess. When you're tired, it's best to sleep it off, I suppose.
Got Legend of Eisenwald, that had scored well, and it looked like a nice Medieval sort of game.
Not that I've cleared any games in a while... Bloody Torment... First I went to the last battle badly lacking in supplies and probably two levels too low... And walkthrough was no help :) There it just said on the lines 'kill them' :) yeah... thanks for help :D ...but I resupplied, thankfully I had another save a bit further back from that impossible-to-win save.
Next year is going to be a good one. The first new Battletech game in years and years will be coming out, made by the same people who do the Shadowrun series. It will be a day 1 release on GOG, I'm certain.
-laughs- Your sleep is the absolute reverse of mine. You nap for 9 hours, I sleep for 30 minutes.
Grabbed Legends of Eisenwald a while back. It looks interesting.
Yeah, I do remember there being some spots in Planescape that were pretty hard, combat-wise.
