Hi Agent *big return hug*
How are you doing?

avatar
CarrionCrow: Good morning. =)

That's good. Apologies if you mentioned it and I just missed it, but how did your knee end up being injured originally?
Hey Crow :)
Thanks - no problem. Happened when i played volleyball yesterday - while trying to save one ball i ended up literally hitting the floor ;)

Well, shit. If nothing else, the rest of the team can't really question your interest or desire to win. You bounced yourself off the floor, after all.

omega64: I have no clue.
This was the response from support:

"It looks like you were blocked by our payment processor's fraud screening system, due to a high velocity of transactions. We did prepare for this, so we're now investigating why you were blocked, even though you shouldn't have. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
Unfortunately whitelist requests are processed manually by our processor, and I cannot promise that you will be able to use your cards by the end of the day. "

I guess it's fixed, guess I'll find out next sale. :P
avatar
ElTerprise: So it happens because you bought too much in a short period of time o_O
Interesting. Seems like a special CC issue because i never had a problem with Paypal....or they don't want your money anymore :P
Right, really strange that they would even use that during a sale like this.
If they would allow me to buy more than 1 game at once I would.
Teaches me for buying gifts to give out after the sale is over. xD

Exactly :)
Although it didn't help in the end :/

Fuck it. You tried, at least.

Well they introduced the gifting restrictions (which can be bypassed though) so from that point it certainly makes sense.
But it's still quite annoying.
How dare you! :P

I bought gifts of games I already owned and had support convert 1 game.
I'm following all the rules here mate. :P

Not in that set unfortunately....

Yep...and i need new kneepads now too ;)

Good idea. Much better than the alternative.
avatar
CarrionCrow: That makes sense to me. Also, no need to apologize, for either the word usage (which looks appropriate to me) or for asking questions.

I'd say go with Icewind. The beginning is easier, I think, the difficulty curve more gradual.

The save system is a combination of auto-saving into one slot when you enter new areas, along with a manual save anywhere system.
Thank you. I will make a note about starting with Icewind.

I know - that's why you're punished :P
Still that general rule of having to own a game to gift it is silly...

Indeed :)

It really is, that's why nobody's getting any expensive games. :P

You're welcome. =) I hope you enjoy it.

If there's something that comes up which you don't understand, the manual has a lot of information on all the different aspects of the game.
Hopefully they'll fix the Slain! game soon. That looks really interesting but apparently GOG got a wrong build xD

Well too bad for GOG then... :P
