CarrionCrow: Likewise. =)

Just about back to normal here. Got a lot of multivitamin powder, that's been helping.
As for the frustration, I'm trying to be smarter about it. I've been killed about 30 times on the last level, so I called it a day and shut it off, rather than letting myself get angry about it.

My apologies. When the rain thing actually works, it tends to be rather heavy...

Insomnia is coming. That's a mood enhancer, was thinking it might not happen this year.
Beyond that, it's a normal quiet evening. No complaints.

Hopefully you can keep on enjoying things from a safe distance, having a pleasant day overall.
No floating away down the street, that's rule one. ;)
Very glad to hear that.

I read about insomnia, I have mixed feelings about it, because I really can't afford to buy games right now.
Looked at my overly long wishlist, and decided that there were only a very few that I could possibly justify buying if the price was right, so I have to be stern with myself and not give in to impulse buying that I'll later regret very much.

Ha!

But I'll try very hard to stay away from the sale most of the time and hope that someone like you will keep track of what's appeared, so I know if my games are going to be there or not. You are always so helpful with that kind of information.

Time for me to be gone, hope your evening is a pleasant as your day, and glad that you gave up on the frustating game for a while.

Antimateria: I've had 2 bags (not at once of course) of oranges and there doesn't seem to be any seeds. Weren't those full of those before? Are those nowadays genetically enhanced?
Some are, some aren't, depends on the variety. If they come from the USA, they are likely GM oranges, it should give you that info on the label, if your government is doing its job.

Have a good day, enjoy your oranges. :-)

-laughs- Trying to avoid a sale, but knowing it'll probably get you anyway. That sounds familiar...

The sale will definitely be tracked, with its own thread, I'm sure. The only question is who exactly will be doing it.

Have a peaceful day, Zen lady. =)

superstande: Have you ever played Lemmings?
I'm kind of glad it's not available for pc :P
Lovely game... starts off nice and easy... but somewhere along the line it gets a bit annoying...

..oh and good morning! ... not awake yet...
avatar
CarrionCrow: Good morning. =)

No, never played it. It didn't appeal to me for some reason, so I always skipped it.
Ah okay.. just mentioned it because it's in some ways like the lost vikings except more hectic and there are more different types of characters... and they keep going everywhere.
Oh Endre mentioned it is available in many formats.
It was a real love-and-hate game for me. Surely not everyone's cup of tea...
Please remind me again Amazon, why do I pay extra P&P for an item, only for it to take twice as long as standard delivery?

- Sorry, wrong thread !

They thought you paid for the hidden Special Slow Service.

Good mornight, Mr Crow.
Nausea is kicking my arse extra hard today. I've mostly just been resting and waiting for it improve, which is finally happening now. Otherwise, I'm doing fine :-)
How about yourself?

Guten Morgen, freunde von Fred !

I hope you are all doing well today?

Question for the German users: When I put "herr" into Goggle translation, it comes up as "Lord". But when I put a name after it, such as Hitler (the name I most often hear after herr), it says "herr" means "mr". I know Goggle translator is terrible, so I was just wondering what "herr" actually means? I know I could just google it for clarification, but then this is the conversation thread, and I figured why not ask here.

And question number 2: What is the difference between "Guter Freitag" and "Karfreitag"? As Google says both mean "Good Friday".

*big Friday hugs*

ZenWan: Hello dd, thanks so much for taking the time to reply. Glad to hear that you're on the mend, although it must be frustrating that it's taking so long.

Africa is indeed interesting, sometimes a little too interesting. ;-) I was born and raised here, so it's good to be home, despite the little frustrations and niggles. There is so much to love here, much to smile about. :-)

Hope your day went well also, and that you are sleeping peacefully.
Hello! No need to thank me for replying. I do not always check on what I have missed on the thread so really it is I who should be apologising for not taking the time to talk with you more often. Thank you, I have been quite ill for some time now, so it is nice to finally be on the mend.

I did not know that, where abouts in Africa are you originally from, if you don't mind me asking? Africa is indeed an interesting place. Sadly all too often overshadowed by the bad parts and not the interesting, unique, and wonderful parts. That sadly seems to be the case for many places these days. The media after all only really focuses on the bad things these days. But if you look past all that, you will see that Africa is a beautiful country with a very diverse history and some wonderful mythology and cultures, past and present.

I hope you are/have had a lovely nights sleep, and that your day will be most pleasant.

Why the heck are you hearing Herr and Hitler together the most? o.O Doesn't make any sense. "Herr" normally just means "Mr."
It can also mean lord, but nowadays it is seldom used that way ;-)

Karfreitag is the Friday before Easter ;-)
And "Guten Freitag" just means wishing someone a good Friday.

Because I studied the war a lot. And apart from that I don't really come into contact with the German language that much. And I blame movies and games for always hearing that. And Red Alert 1, as it is in the introduction video when Einstein erases a young Hitler from history. So stop being mean. :-)

So it means Lord and Mr. But now mostly just Mr. Thank you.

I wondered if Karfreitag was referring to Good Friday the Easter event, but I was not too sure. But as always, thank you for entertaining my silly questions and taking the time to answer them.

*big thank you hug*

And how are you today, lovely Moonshine? Are you glad it is Friday finally?

*more big hugs*

Glad to hear it's getting better, at least. Nausea sucks, especially if you have it for very long.

As for me, I'm slightly annoyed by a game and waiting to see what's coming up for the weekend.
