moonshineshadow: Normal ;-)
How about you?
avatar
CarrionCrow: -laughs- About the same. You know how it is. ;)

There's stuff to do around the house, a bunch of game books I want to read more of so I can learn everything, and a 20 year old game I still need to beat, that's about it.
Yeah ;-)

Well for me it is trying to somehow get the time over until I'm tired enough to sleep. Can't really decide what to do or play.

Stilton: Hi, ladies, gentlemen and ladies :-)
How's your Thursday going?
*confused hug* Thursday? Did I miss something?
avatar
CarrionCrow: Good afternoon/evening, everyone.
Hope you're all doing at least okay, or that you'll be feeling better soon if not.
*tips a helmet*
What's this old game you've been playing?

Good evening, Mr Stilton :-)

I'll let you know when it gets here ;-p ... My Tuesday is going okay though. Brutally rough morning, but thanks to modern medicine, that turned around and I'm able to enjoy a pleasant evenoon.

How's yours?

Good evening. =)

Can't complain here, just the usual odds and ends of stuff. How's the night treating you?

It's really awesome that things are looking so much better for you. I hope everything only continues to improve. =)

Yeah, Dragonfall is really good. I liked playing it, I liked the characters (Glory in particular), it was a lot of fun.
Hong Kong has some good stuff as well that you should like quite a bit given your enjoyment of Dragonfall. Very cool characters in it, especially.

Wasn't really sure on Caribbean, avoided it initially since it had so many problems mentioned at launch. Maybe it'll get better in the long run?

Ugh...that's always fun. Looking for something interesting, but not so interesting that it keeps you awake. It's a tightrope...

Last night, I started playing The Lost Vikings. Very cool game, have always liked it, but got stuck at one point and never finished it.
First played that game when I was something like 12 or 13 years old. It's been a while.
So now I'm going to finish it, since my platforming skills are ever so slightly better than they were back then.

Hey, that's great to hear, Mr 2T3 :-D
Always good to hear when things are looking up for someone, especially those who've been having a rough patch. I hope things keep going up for you :-)
And yeah... Shadowrun is awesome! Just finished Dragonfall myself a few nights ago, and can't wait to move on to the third game...... but I'm gonna wait a couple weeks, just so I don't burn myself out on the series :-p

What, its Wednesday? How the hell did that happen..?

Hi, Moon. How are you? Pretty rare to see me around here recently. Luckily I've happened along *whispers* when all the best people are here.... ;-)

Do you remember what point you were stuck at, and have you passed it now? :-)
Looks like an interesting game. The "gimmick" reminds me a bit of Trine (but is much different.)

My Wednes...Tuesday (?) is going well. Gaming and a fresh Windows 7 installation/copy pre upgrade to the perils of Windows 10. The 10 upgrade feels like a necessary evil unfortunately, one which, if I resist for too long, will only come around again and with a price tag. Blaaaah.

Sorry your morning was bad, but good that some gloop bailed you out. Is this a recurrent thing or a one-off? Sincerely hope its the latter... :-)
Good moaning how are you guys doing?

I had a fun day. I confirmed a puncture in one of my tires and had to change the wheel, then I went to campus only to find myself stuck in a traffic jam. Which made me late for a tutoring session. Then I took the tire to my mechanic friend's repairshop only for him to tell me it needed a vulcanized patch and he couldn't apply it. Then I spent 20 minutes circling around some side streets in an industrial state trying to find the other repair shop my friend had told me about. Then I had to go to lessons.

Hurm, come to think of it, it wasn't fun at all.

I'm a bit tired a bit angry and a bit frustrated, the pefect state of mind to play Dark Souls 2 and culture those feelings into a volcanic eruption of unbridled rage.

Wow...that really does sound like fun. And by fun, I mean massive piles of steaming shit.

Well...at least you're not a robot. If you could deal with that and not be pissed? Pretty sure that means you're a replicant.

Not at all bad, considering. The stuff already mentioned has kept me occupied pleasantly for most of the day, once I wrestled myself past Windows 7's reluctance to accept its own updates. One day M'soft might get their programmers to produce something that actually does what its told.

Odds of that are very, very low.

For the Windows 10 thing, my thought is, "I'll deal with it when I have no other choice." If I had to pick between Windows 10 and Vista, I would still be debating, and I hate Vista.

I always love a fresh install... I hate doing it, but once it's done, the important programs are there, and settings are set the way you like them, it is quite satisfying and refreshing :-) ... Looks like Windows 10 will be much more necessary in the not-too distant future. Future hardware (and some current) will not be supported under anything but Windows 10. Woohoo...

It's complicated. Long term problems I guess, which are sometime better and sometimes worse. The last 2-3 weeks have been brutal nearly everyday. Got worse and worse over the weekend until I finally reached a breaking point today. That's where Ativan comes in @__@ ... I normally try to avoid medication whenever possible, but damn... this was lifesaving.

Normal is good as long it allows you some sleep. I'm still getting pleasant snippets of you voice now and then - sometimes someone's voice sticks in my head like songs can. What's your singing like? Mine's terrible, it scares people. Especially me. :-O

I seem to be pretty content these days, and I'm trying to work out why. Am I 'of a certain age' and not that ruffled by stuff any more, or is it something else? If I come up with any breakthroughs I'll pass them along, but I doubt they'll be very breakthroughy (I just made that word up, by the way).

'happy Wednes...Thur....er....today hug*
