Good gravy, I need to get my eyes checked. I just NOW realized that your current avatar (the one the forum displays) is an 8-bit parsnip. I honestly thought that the green part was a rocket ship of some sort and that the yellow/orange part was the flame from the ship.
And I thought _Slaugh_'s avatar was a prairie dog...

I seem to be cursed with characters that control like shit, for every game I play right now.

Heard good things about the game. Pretty sure i also own it from a Humble Bundle - but haven't tried it yet.

It annoys me, but it's part of the gimmick. You're playing as a little kid, so the lack of jumping ability's to be expected.
When it gets too irritating, I just watch run them into saw blades they're unable to jump over on their own and chastise them for their shitness until the frustration passes.
