ElTerprise: Hello Crow :)
Doing good here - what about you?
Trying to wake up at the moment. But I'm drinking coffee as fast as I can brew it, so it's scorching out the cobwebs fairly quickly.
Now I'm reading a book and enjoying the thought of a character that boils down to "bombs for every occasion". -laughs-

Yezemin: A beautiful day to you all! I hope it's not as strange as mine.^^
avatar
CarrionCrow: Hopefully it's been more interesting strangeness than anything else.
It was work-related strangeness. Everything seemed to go haywire today, but at the same time it was oddly relaxing.

Hmm. Inner harmony attained by external chaos?

akhliber: Hi, Fred! I hope you are all doing well!

*big hugs and waves all around*

Sarge's vet visit checked out okay, he's got some medication to take for a few days but should be fine. He's finally got some energy back today, so we're going to go play out back for a bit. I'll probably do a bit of actually-catching-up-on-the-forums out there, but I'll be on my tablet if I do, so I'll be in lurker mode.

Have a lovely day, folks!
Good morning.

Sounds like a plan, hope your puppy's feeling all the way better quickly.

Don't blame you a bit, typing on a tablet sucks 37 kinds of ass.

Have a pleasant day. =)

Sounds like a good title for a self-help book.^^

Hi *big return hug*
Good to hear that - and i hope he'll back to normal in no time :)
Yes following the forums on a mobile device can be really annoying...(although i guess it's better on a tablet than on a smartphone)

Likewise :)

That's good to hear. Sounds like a well-fleshed out character ;)

-laughs- It's not cutesy enough. Besides, I already know what the title of my first self-help book will be.
Someday, I will be introduced by Oprah Winfrey as the author of "Everything's Fucked, Deal With It". The entire interview will be 10 minutes of me giggling my ass off. Possibly while drunk.

Some might call it one-dimensional, but I call it highly focused...

FearfulSymmetry: Well, I failed my career as dictator, so I figured becoming a teacher would be the next best thing ... ;)

I guess I've never really been concerned about responsibility, but that probably has a lot to do with my youth. Due to circumstances like my parents' divorce, my mother's burn-out and my little sister's chronic illness I gained some experience. :P And what I really like about teaching is that you also have the power to change children's lives for the better. The impact you have is not always clear, but the years spent at high school are definitely formative ones.
"I have loads of experience with snot."

The first part is both very sad and very inspiring. I've always considered teaching the noblest of professions, I applaud you for your attitude and dedication.

The second part is funny as hell and I nominate it for 'thread quote of the day'. :-)

Morning all!

Now that sounds like a book I would read. I can practically see the look on Oprah's face.^^

Why do I suddenly feel reminded of Cut-Me-Own-Throat-Dibbler? Oo

Doing good this morning, sunny and cool day, birds chirping and lots of coffee. Nirvana. :-)
The colds and flu seem unusually vicious this year, hope your pisses off real soon.

Same here. At first, there's nervous laughter about the title. Then they attempt to open the interview, which of course goes nowhere as I won't stop laughing. Figuring it'd be a nice transition from confusion, to anger, to outright fear eventually.

Not sure on that one, but I appreciate the indirect reminder that I need to get all of Discworld and read it.
And Crow scores 96,000! Wow.

That does sound nice...

I don't get them very often. (Upside of rarely socializing. ;) ) It'll pass, it always does.

Wow indeed :D

CarrionCrow:
Congrats on the 96,000 \o/

Only 4,000 to go ;)
