AgentBirdnest: Anyone played it? Thoughts?
I've heard the first one is good. The second is supposed to be a buggy mess.
With all the expansions included, a player should be able to get a lot of playtime out of it, and it's dirt cheap.

ElTerprise: Cool. Sword of the Stars :D

Moar Space games :D

AgentBirdnest: Woohoo!! We don't have any of those!! :-D

It's a great game with some 4x and lots of battles. As Crow says, with the 3 expansions there is a large boatload of content. And 5 bucks is about free for what you get.

And yes, I'm back and the doctor says I'm not dead yet so all good. :-)

Unless you are in fact a zombie. o_O

I played it years ago - was quite nice. A 4x light if you will combat focus

Modern medicine has figured that one out: dead, un-dead, not-dead. I am the latter.

And we are all very glad to hear that. *big hug*

How are you liking the new release?

I bought it from Amazon a few years ago and have enjoyed what I've played of it so far.

Do you mean you still have games on disc? In that case you can join me and Agent in our grumpy old gamers club. :-)

How are feeling today now that you are back from the doctors, if you don't mind me asking?

I feel fine, it was just a check on my new meds and my blood pressure. I came through with flying colors. :-)
Thanks.
Just a quick hello to the lovely thread called Fred! Took Sarge to the vet today, they gave him a treatment for something I couldn't pronounce, but said he looks healthy and chances are it was just that they fed him differently in boarding + the stress of it all. Making him rice water and chicken for a few days to see if it helps his belly a bit.

Otherwise I've been completely sucked up into Balrum. I played about 10 hours, then decided to start over, as I didn't like the specializations I'd chosen... I'm already almost back to where I left off (didn't take half as long to get on my feet 2nd time around) and really enjoying it.

Eep, doorbell. What the??? I don't have friends, must be solicitors ;) more later

Thanks for the thoughts, guys! Went ahead and snagged a copy :-) Looks like something I could "waste" plenty of time on... if I ever get around to playing it ;-p

And Endre- great to hear about the lack of deadness :-) *celebratory milkshake*

That is good to hear, now you just behave yourself and make sure you keep feeling fine. So if that means no more chasing Mormon nurses then that is just how it needs to be. :-)

*big silly hug*

That is good to hear, let's hope this unpronounceable ailment will be gone in no time.

Take care and have a lovely day!

Glad he seems to be in good health. Hopefully he'll feel better in no time!
Sounds like you do the same thing that I do in RPGs. Play a few hours and start over to play it better :-p (Does everyone do this?)
Hope you are having a pleasant day. Give those solicitors at the door a swift kick in the nuts (or, if they are Mormons, give them coffee >:-p)
Yay, I finally finished a TV series. Holy frigging crap does it take a lot of effort to not run video games alongside.
