CarrionCrow: It's more like I'm the guy who's been dumb enough to buy a bunch of really horrible games, know they were horrible the whole time, then play them anyway out of occasional massive self-hatred.
-laughs- It'd be a nice touch of absurdity if you
did pick a game you care nothing for to break an 18 month streak...
I'm good. Thank you, though. =) Only one confirmed shit game left on my list, and I'm content with that.
Either way, you provided a key service to the fellows of Fred. :-)
It would indeed, but then I would feel so bad that I would have to play it, and that would just push me over the edge. Although in all credit the game could be fun for those into those kind of games, but as I said, not my thing. Plus that would not work, I have turned down games I wanted so I won't give in for that game. I tend to think "I will buy myself a game", but then I see a game on someones wishlist and just think "I would much rather give that lovely person a gift instead". But it is not like I have not had new games, you lot are far too generous to me and have gifted me quite a few games, which I am truly grateful for. There are only a few games left on my wishlist anyway, so I pretty much own the games I want from GOG.
Only one left? That is great to hear, let's hope you can start playing good games from now on.
ElTerprise: I guess that depends on when the developers and GOG agreed on bringing the games here. In some cases those games are on the upcoming list for ages *cough* Crawl *cough*....and yet other games won't probably show up here until they're finished. Heard that from the Numenera devs who have no interest in bringing the game here as an in-dev game...
True, that and maybe it would be too much work at this stage to remove the Steam dependant features and offer it to two sites. It would be much easier to get it done on Steam, then remove those features afterwards so that the game can come here.
