ElTerprise: New in-dev game?
*goes looking*
Game looks weird.....not sure what to think of it...

*big hug*
Hi Agent - how are you today?
I think the same. I looked through the video and screenshots, but only saw cube trees. I read through the description, but it was written in alien gibberish. Maybe one day I'll look for a gameplay video to see what it's all about.

Good question... I'll put my top men™ on it right away, and hopefully come back with an answer soon :-p
What I don't quite understand about the "in development" system is that some of the games in the upcoming section, games that one would assume are coming to GOG, well some of them are in early access on Steam, so would it not make sense for them to be here on in development as well?

And hello to Agent and Crow.

*hugs, waves, coffee, or the poison of your choice.* :-)

CarrionCrow: And now I know the next game to gift you...>=)
PLUCK!! I take one step into the thread, and BAM! It's like a warzone in here. No safe spot to hide >__ô

It would, but that doesn't mean they will. :P

It would make sense, yes... That's why they are not here. GOG doesn't like to make sense. They just like to pluck around with us and give us ugly shelves for our library.

Good mornoon *chooses the poison*

I kinda figured that's why you wear the helmet. ;)

Don't worry, was just kidding. If I'm going to gift someone something, it'll probably be a game that's completed.
Would only really consider passing an in-dev one along if the person expressed a heavy interest in it.

Good morning. =)

-adds the offered cup of coffee to the one I already have- Thank you, could definitely use more of that.

Of course not, since when has GOG done things that are logical. :-)

But perhaps they are not here due to a contract made with Steam, or just that they don't want to make the effort for two stores while the game is still in development, given that one would need to be free of any Steam specific elements and also be DRM-Free.

And a bird on my shoulder to absorb some shrapnel >;-)

Thank GOG... I have a hard enough time playing the games that I actually like... I don't need a backlog of stuff that I have zero interest in :-p

Never actually tried almond butter... *sniff* ... *shrug*

Are you implying GOG is silly? o_O

Poison of your choice usually means drink, alcohol most often. Often said as what' your poison or pick your poison. So what drink did you pick? Peanut butter milkshake perhaps? :-)

*silly hug*

Good morning.

Will you be getting today's gripping new release? :-)

Yeah, that zero interest thing is a hard problem to overcome.

Me neither. Keep seeing it at the store but haven't tried it yet.

No, I'm good on that one. But at this point, I kinda like the rounds where I'm not spending money adding more stuff to the pile.

Given your assessment of its quality, should I figure that you're going to try it for everyone? =)

Wait, I thought you were our testing guy who played all the horrible games. Besides, I have not bought myself a game in about 1.5 years (I have bought a few for my partner to play, so I guess those could count as games bought for me), so I am not about to start with that game. But, I have still been gifting, so I am not against gifting such games to you if you would like. :-)

But no, I think I will pass on the game, not really my kind of game.

Same here - just wait until it's finished. Maybe things are more clear then :)

So you basically cannot tell me anytime soon™? :P

It's more like I'm the guy who's been dumb enough to buy a bunch of really horrible games, know they were horrible the whole time, then play them anyway out of occasional massive self-hatred.

-laughs- It'd be a nice touch of absurdity if you did pick a game you care nothing for to break an 18 month streak...

I'm good. Thank you, though. =) Only one confirmed shit game left on my list, and I'm content with that.
(To be fair, I've been repeatedly burned by things I thought would be good, as well. But that last one's sitting at about a 95 percent probability, so I'd say it's the surest bet of the bunch.)

I guess that depends on when the developers and GOG agreed on bringing the games here. In some cases those games are on the upcoming list for ages *cough* Crawl *cough*....and yet other games won't probably show up here until they're finished. Heard that from the Numenera devs who have no interest in bringing the game here as an in-dev game...

Either way, you provided a key service to the fellows of Fred. :-)

It would indeed, but then I would feel so bad that I would have to play it, and that would just push me over the edge. Although in all credit the game could be fun for those into those kind of games, but as I said, not my thing. Plus that would not work, I have turned down games I wanted so I won't give in for that game. I tend to think "I will buy myself a game", but then I see a game on someones wishlist and just think "I would much rather give that lovely person a gift instead". But it is not like I have not had new games, you lot are far too generous to me and have gifted me quite a few games, which I am truly grateful for. There are only a few games left on my wishlist anyway, so I pretty much own the games I want from GOG.

Only one left? That is great to hear, let's hope you can start playing good games from now on.

True, that and maybe it would be too much work at this stage to remove the Steam dependant features and offer it to two sites. It would be much easier to get it done on Steam, then remove those features afterwards so that the game can come here.
