The previews / "short cuts" of this one always looked very good to me. Plus the shots were always pretty and I liked what (looked to me) like a good balance of absurd, dark humor and a gritty environment. And I DO like Colin Farrell.

I think it's worth a look. On episode 6 right now, haven't been annoyed or turned off by it.
Thinking a lot of people kicked it in the teeth because they wanted Season 1: The Direct Sequel. When it wasn't that, they pitched a fit.

You'll probably like it that much more because you enjoy Colin Farrell. He's quite good in it.

A quick hello from me, after a night of wonderful rain. I was surprised to find that the internet connection is still working - I had unplugged the modem and computer because of the lightning, but while there's a lull, I thought I'd fly in to say hi.

No surprise there. I think things are being worked on, which makes the preexisting system very wonky and prone to breaking as they do so.

That is good to hear, about you doing good, not the paper. Although working on a paper can still be fun if you are enjoying the subject.

I am just enjoying some reading and the lovely cold breeze and the birds singing away. I might do some baking later, but other than that I will just be resting as best I can. I don't want to risk doing too much as I am hoping to be well enough to go away over the weekend, so I don't want to risk messing all that up.

Are you hoping for a nice classic release today?

Something about the cube trees in the new in-dev game is very unsettling to me. Very unattractive. They are the only thing my eyes can see in the trailer. Fugly-ass green cubes on top of tiny sticks.
