I got the full digital bundle. Kinda had a feeling that the logistics of getting the physical stuff was going to be insane, so I skipped that part. Figure I'll pick it up separately sometime in the next few weeks if possible.
I'm actually more interested in the lore than the actual system, the fluff over the crunch. And thosee books seem rather crunch-heavy and light on the fluff.
Which is precisely the reason I think I'll get the comics bundle.
The starter box however seems like the perfect pastime for a rainy sunday afternoon.
Good night and sleep well battle sister.

Well first day on the job went well
I'm happy to report, and this week will net me just under full time hours. Life is looking up!
How is life treating you all?

And when the Puzzlemaster shoots, everybody moves randomly, arms flailing in all directions, because he's such a bad shot that nobody knows WHERE the heck those bullets are gonna go.

No problem. I mean: When the British shoot, the Germans duck. When the Germans shoot, the British duck. When the Americans shoot, everybody ducks :P
Or alternatively, they remain unfazed, because they know he's most likely to shoot another spaniard than anyone else.
It wasn't just terrible, it demonstrated me how anally retentive some people could be, by being at the computer at the precise moment their timers reached zero to click the buttons once again.
How do you kill? That which has no life?

Since I'm an American, can I make the French joke, or will the owl drag me off for that one?

Figuring that when I have more coin, I'll pick up Occult Adventures, then the Cthulhu-like Adventure Path they're putting out in a few months.

Can't complain here. Multitasking rather than focusing on one thing at a time, but that's normal.

I'm off as well.
Stay safe. And don't try to tame a shoggoth.

But I'm just not commited enough to get all those extra rulebooks. Plus you get a gamemaster's guide with the basic tier.
From what I've seen so far (which isn't much), there's a lot of rules and system and far less lore by comparison.
If I want to learn more about what kind of world they've crafted, I guess the comics are as good a place to start as any.
And this time I really am leaving. Good bye and good night.

That's one way of doing it. Hopefully it shows you something you find interesting.
Goodnight, sleep well when you get there. =)

Hi to anyone who's around, and to those who come later. Hope your day / evening will be happy.
Crow is offline, sleeping, I hope, but more likely gaming, watching movies and perhaps coughing (hope not). zeogold is green - hi to you, puzzlemaster, hope the taming session is turning out well....
That's the only green light I see on this dark morning.
It took me ages to get here, rain last night seemed to have affected either the modem or the connection or both, and at first I couldn't load Firefox, then I couldn't load GoG. Big storms forecast for the next few days, with all the accompanying sound and fury that we get here, especially lightning. Last time the modem was hit surge-protector notwithstanding, and all the phone lines in the area, so it was a while before I got back online.
I am not fond of lightning. That is an understatement. ;-)
I wrote this a while ago but then I couldn't post it, and found that Firefox had hung. Not a good morning for communicating, it seems. Just got back to GoG, having fortunately saved my post, so I'll try again.
Have some replies to posts to try to post also, but I'll take things slowly and try to get this in first.
And glad I came back, Crow is green, that's good to see. Glad I didn't miss you today.

Always glad to read about ZenWan's stories. Seems I missed him though.
That would be ''her'' - big smile. And thank you for the women's day wishes. :-)
Hope you have a wonderful day, not too cold, and filled with hot soup.

My yard, the pergola and the roof are often home to doves. Country pigeons as I like to call them, though I do really enjoy the cooing. We have mostly mourning doves and it's a bit sad to admit but I've mastered their call.
The ONE guy I hate, I have no clue what it is, but it's like the retarded (I'm sorry if I offend anyone with this, but really, this bird is) cousin of the bird world. It'll make this noise at the crack of dawn, and I swear it's the same, one syllable repeated and LOUD sound over and over and over again. It's like that alarm clock you had in college that just grates on the ears. I FU$#*ing HATE it when this thing is lurking outside my slider late spring early summer. I swear one of these days I'll do a better job of noting the sound, just so I can finally figure out what this bastard degenerate no talent bird is called.
Here's a fun article about them..

Amazing that you've mastered the mourning dove's call, not sad at all. I love birds, also trees but trees are quieter, which could be good or bad, depending. ;-)

All ok here, glad I finally made it online.
Time for me to be gone, my free online time (for what it was worth today - scowling) is almost over.
Sorry I missed you today, Crow, hope you are resting and feeling better.
Take care, everyone.

Goodness, that's possibly the most poetic light I've ever had somebody describe me in.
Oh. That was a short trip. Nice talking to ya.

Ah sorry I cheated with that soup... that one was just virtual cooking this time. Been cooking mostly veggie stuff lately..
I could ask my wife about haddock soup, she can do that sort of thing.
Ah sorry... don't know why I thought you were a he!
Maybe that jazz fooled me :) don't know many jazz loving women at least around here :)
Have a bright luck-filled wednesday!
