It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

ZenWan: I'm doing well, thank you. :-) Just setting up another game download, the GOG downloader works fast, unlike Galaxy which is slow and deletes everything in the queue when I shut it down, although they say it is not supposed to do that.

Honey is wonderful stuff, keep some next to your desk and it should help relieve the cough. Sleep would help also, hope you get some proper sleep soon.

It's peaceful and quiet this morning, only the sound of some doves cooing. The hadedas have gone off exploring elsewhere, it seems. I can hear them in the distance, hope they stay there for a while. ;-)
Hmm. It's been problematic for me as well. I also stick with the downloader, or just a straight browser transfer since the downloader now seems to cause system-wide lag when it's in use for any prolonged amount of time.

I'll do that. Thank you for the advice, I appreciate it. =)

That sounds much nicer, far less jarring, than the ibises trying to jolt you out of bed in a panic.
Maybe they finally got the hint that you weren't exactly enjoying their pre-dawn company.

That could explain why Firefox is so slow in the mornings, when the downloader is running. I thought it was just all the tabs I had open.. But at least the GOG downloader saves everything when I shut it down, and hasn't lost any downloads so far. Galaxy still seems to be very buggy. When I was last on the forum, it was supposedly because it was new, but now there's really no excuse. GOG support are all over the place about downloads, one of them told me to use Galaxy because it saves the downloads, the other agreed that feature wasn't working, and said I should use the GOG downloader, even though it isn't supported any more.
I wouldn't like to have that job..

I spoke too soon, the birds are back, with a loud hello for me. People here have come up with all sorts of suggestions about what to do about them, someone even suggested an AK47. :-(
Others say a big dog is the answer, but the one here chases them until she's exhausted, and all they do is sit in low tree branches, taunting her. The cats are too smart to go near them.

Guess I'll stay with my iPod.

I took so long writing this, inbetween checking my tabs and downloads, that my online time is almost over. I do hope that you get some sleep, and feel better soon.

Thank you for chatting, you always brighten my day. :-)

It's very much hit and miss. The only thing I know for certain is that they're supporting Galaxy. That's their long-term investment. I fully expect there to be a day when the downloader just stops working permanently, and that'll be it.

And yes, I'm kind of shocked that every support person doesn't drink heavily as a coping mechanism.

-laughs- The birds are smarter. Even if someone did shoot some of them, more would just take their place, and I imagine someone would be by about the automatic weapon fire.

Drown it all out whenever possible. A plan to live by if ever I've heard one.

It'll be fine, no worries. Just normal crap.

You're very welcome. Have a good day out there, talk with you tomorrow. =)
Happy women's day!!

Always glad to read about ZenWan's stories. Seems I missed him though.

Good morning, Crow and others too! ;)

Good almost morning Agent, not sleeping well again?
It just got surprisingly busy in here for this time of night.

Hey there to everyone who just jumped in. =)
Glad I logged in before night's end - jealous of you Zen - you have Ibis!!! I've always wanted to see one of these guys in the wild! And probably never will - we have fun long legged water birds called egrets (that are REALLY neat to catch in flight mind you!) but still nothing as interesting as curved beaked, crazy orange colored guys like that.

My yard, the pergola and the roof are often home to doves. Country pigeons as I like to call them, though I do really enjoy the cooing. We have mostly mourning doves and it's a bit sad to admit but I've mastered their call.

The ONE guy I hate, I have no clue what it is, but it's like the retarded (I'm sorry if I offend anyone with this, but really, this bird is) cousin of the bird world. It'll make this noise at the crack of dawn, and I swear it's the same, one syllable repeated and LOUD sound over and over and over again. It's like that alarm clock you had in college that just grates on the ears. I FU$#*ing HATE it when this thing is lurking outside my slider late spring early summer. I swear one of these days I'll do a better job of noting the sound, just so I can finally figure out what this bastard degenerate no talent bird is called.

A new one today... worst toothache I've had in years decided to randomly show up. Ice is calming it down a little, thankfully.
These last few days are starting to feel like a game - "let's find Agent's breaking point"...

Shit, toothaches are the worst. :/ Ice usually makes them worse so you must have some swelling in there that it's helping. Sorry to hear life is being so rough on you lately, hopefully it'll calm down real soon.

Yeah, that's what I figured :-\ ... and thank you.
*helmet tip with some brownies*
Starting to nod off in the chair so I think it's that time. See y'all later today. ;)

Howdy, Endre! :)
So you started your morning early :)
