I see I'm not the only one to expect insomnia to start this week. I'm actually missing it, as it was my start into haning out here in the forums last year and without it, I would never have met all you wonderful folks. But maybe there's better luck next week...

Ups. Sorry. What can I say, I am not used to making coffee. But on the plus side, you can go get a lovely nurse to rub some cream all over you now to help with the burns. :-)

I don't really think New GOG will give us an insomnia sale, I think their regular sales are far more profitable and less stressful on their servers. But I look forward to be proven wrong, as I know so many people here love a good insomnia sale.

How are you today?

I'm doing good. I've just been told my wife's job interview went well, so let's see if she gets the job. Work is quite boring atm, but okayish.

But what do you mean with "New GOG"? Did I miss any Good News™?

That is good to hear, fingers crossed she will get the job.

Well I was just being a bit cynical, GOG seems to have changed quite a bit over the last few years, and one of those changes is that they seem a lot less community focused, so for them to do a sale that is less profitable just because the community enjoys it might not be on the table from them. But as I said, I look forward to being proved wrong.

I see, I also had the impression there has been more interaction before. But let's hope that they don't drain all the fun out of the community.

I just think it is less profitable and more taxing for them, so I can understand why they use their regular format as it makes them a lot more money in the long run (only guessing about all that). Maybe a regular sale with a bit of insomnia added would be good, but again, it would mean more work.

Thank you. I still have a long way to go and there are still many things being a problem, but overall I am doing good and things do seem to be slowly getting better, which is great.
