All right, might as well get more sleep. Going to be a long day.

Have a good day, everyone.

ElTerprise: Hi Agent *big hug*
How are you doing today?

And yep it is really annoying to see yet another Activision promo with the same game like every other recent Activision promo.....
*big return hug*
Not too good. Didn't sleep. In pain, physical and mental. Cold as pluck. I keep trying to be positive and smile like always, but it is getting really difficult. But - these socks are really comfortable, so it's not all bad.

They'd probably only give us their worst games anyway. They have a lot. Remember Activision Value? Or how about Gods and Generals? :-p

Sorry to hear that - hopefully you'll get better over the day or at least on the weekend *big warming hug*

Basically, Activision Value was just for publishing licensed games - but not the good licenses. Barbie, Cabela's sporting goods store, Mall of America, The History Channel... and both Gods and Generals and Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing, which at least for a while were the two lowest rated games of all time.

Welcome you are *big hug* ^^

Yes i think i heard about that before. Good thing in that case is that licenced games have a bigger chance to end up in the limbo due expired licences ...

Isn't Activision now called Activision Blizzard? I wonder why the publisher here is still just Activision. But then maybe that is why we did not get new games, maybe due to them merging and the new company not wanting to play ball. Or like all the other big publishers they just give us scraps and then disappear.

Hm. Dunno. A quick wiki check says that "Activision" is one of Activision Blizzard's subsidiaries. So... I'm not going to pretend to know what any of this means. I'll slowly and awkwardly back away now ;-p
But I'm guessing it's more of the "scraps" thing.

But we must be mistake, we were told regional pricing would bring AAA publishers here, they would come flocking here with all those shiny new games. Yet all we got were a few that appeared, dropped a few scraps and then never be seen from again. I wonder how many were just using GOG to make their games work so they could take them to Steam. And sadly people give these publishers so much praise for the scraps and for treating us second class. If they really valued GOG and the customers, where are the new games, or even recent games? Then there is the aspect of them charging more for games on GOG than on Steam. granted sometimes it is the opposite, but still, should we not all be charged the same?
Good afternoon ! :)
Any opinion about the Phantasmagoria and Gabriel Knight 2 & 3 games, please ? :) i'm afraid the full motion video thing will put me off...

Gabriel knight 2 was in full motion but a pretty good game. Gabriel 3 is a 3d thing but it always weirdly asks me to put a cd eventhough it is the gog version. I recommend gabriel knights anyway.

I have never played any of them (yet), but I do tend to enjoy FMV games, even when they are cheesy.

But only one way to find out. Check your chat for Mr Knight. :-)

Oh yeah... We got Assassin's Creed... and that was all of the "AAA" games? (someone correct me if there are others!)
And while I stop short of giving praise to Ubisoft, I am happy that they have started releasing more stuff here. Even fairly new stuff like Anno 1404 and Rayman Something. It's better than nothing at least, which is what EA, Activision, and Square are giving us.
Still, yeah... I think we oughtta send a flaming ElT to each of their doors as a warning :-p

I'm tempted by Fantasticblorffia... I think it is created by the same woman who created the King's Quest series. Roberta Something(?) ... So that interests me. But, I've not actually played it.
(I think Crow had some awful things to say about the sequel, if I remember correctly?)

But where are the not so new Assassin Creed games, or Far Cry 3 or things like that? But I know what you mean, it is still nice to get some games, but hardly the AAA games which were implied with the introduction of regional pricing. Also, I remember reading that the new games from Ubisoft here were maybe part of a deal allowing them to sell Witcher 3 on sale before even GOG got to. But who knows.

Can we use a catapult to fire him at their doors? O_O

I never played the King's Quest series either... never felt really appealed... (i dare not asking how they are... ',,',',,','):-| without being hit with treachery in return !!!) ;-p
Haha... I'll ask Crow too then, I love his awful stories :D
How are you doing, my Agent ?... :-\
