Are you saying I'm slow? >:-\ ... well... It did take me 49 minutes to reply to this, so I guess I'll shut my mouth :-x
It's a brutally rough evenight... On top of everything annoying me lately, my dick of a brain doesn't want me to sleep, and my asshole of a stomach wants to put me in massive pain for a while.
Considering a platformer to take my mind off things...

First thought - that stress could be causing both the insomnia and the stomach pain.

That sounds like a good idea. If you can manage to relax a bit, it could help with all the crap you're dealing with.

Yeah something to take your mind of things... Maybe jogging? ... not sure if that's a big thing there/for you..
and sure action-heavy games should be good too...

And there's a whole arsenal of new age tricks and gimmicks for stress relief! :P

Uh, just felt a moment of desperation. Went to Torchlight Wiki and checked out how many levels there are left on this bloody main dungeon... turns out there's only one more... Whopee! (not a very enthusiastic 'whopee!')

I hope you feel better soon Agent. If nothing else, try a long warm shower and a nice cup of tea (maybe chamomile?). Not that either has helped me through my insomnia bouts but at least it'll relax you a bit.

Well tonight I bought my first game in months and months, Downfall Redux. I figured it's only $7 and it's a game I've been excited for...so why not?

Actually had a decent meal today, a BBQ sandwich (first time eating THAT in a while), fries and a drink for $5. Sure beats boxed rice/mac n' cheese/cans of generic ravioli every night.

Floating in to say hello to everyone in this thread - after a very long absence. I've moved to what feels like a new world, a long way from where I was, both geographically and culturally, and I'm trying to get myself settled again, not easy.

Hope you are all doing well here, I enjoyed reading some posts, and seeing some familiar faces, and was happy to see the thread still doing well with Crow at the helm.
