CarrionCrow: In the end, I just need to wipe out my list. Then there'll be nothing left for someone to gift.
That goal feels much more attainable at the moment since a person who I won't mention as to keep the scum-sucking parasites from bothering them got me with an amazingly, moment of speechlessness-level generous blindside gift of Witcher 3 and its expansion pass.
Honestly figured that one would be the last item standing since my computer can't even run it yet.

Once I can see properly, things will be looking up in full. -laughs-

I'm happy to hear you're at least feeling a bit better. Not thrilled at what you're having to go through, though. At all.
Well I can't say I am surprised about that gift, there are some wonderfully generous people on here. And I think you are a very deserving recipient, even if you can't play it yet.

Also, are we able to gift Witcher 3 again now? I tried to do that a few times for people in the past and it would never allow me to before, which ruined my gifting plans a little. Has GOG lifted the ban now?

I am doing fine, I am thinking much of today's problems are the side effects still from yesterday, and today's appointment has been changed to next week, so that is not too bad. I am just hoping I am feeling better tomorrow as I am hoping to go to work for a few hours. I won't actually be doing anything, but it will be nice to be out and seeing the animals and things again. I am not allowed to do anything though, my family are under strict orders about that from my partner. But hopefully soon enough I can start doing things more again, it has been too long as it is.

Eh...that's debatable. ;P But the compliment's appreciated.

I honestly don't know the specifics. I've never had the coin to random gift that one and I've never run across the gift ban for items in general.

The appointment shift is good. More chance for you to rest and keep on recovering.

My apologies if this sounds glib and/or cliched, but you'll get there. With you being so active all the time, you must be losing your mind from time to time. But you'll get there. You're strong, you'll recover and be back to doing what you want, in time.

(Used the word time way too much for one paragraph. That's annoying. But I can't go back in and edit like usual without mangling it all...)

No debate needed. Just nod your head and agree with me, you know I am right. After all, I am always right... except when I am wrong. :-)

No worries, I will have a look the next time I see a good victim for it.

No need to apologise, thank you for the kinds words. I am indeed tired of being stuck not being able to do things, it has been quite a few months now and it has been quite a challenge not to push myself too much. I think without my partner I would have pushed myself too much all the time, and probably just made things worse. But luckily I have her looking out for me. Not that I mean to push myself, it is just my nature to be active more than stuck at home. But I will be fine, iI think one a lot of the non-health related stress goes away I can concentrate on getting better and I will be feeling better in no time.

I'm glad she's there to balance things out and take care of you. Can't ever overstate the value of a partner who's actually looking out for you.

Yeah, that'd be good. Not going to ask specifics, but definitely at the point of "If it's a person being a source of grief for giggles, they seriously need to fuck off and stop polluting your life with their bullshit."

It is possible to gift Witcher 3 for some weeks now. gog made the change that when buying it (and other expensive games) as gift you pay the at least the US price or your higher regional price. Meaning that when you live in the regions where the game is totally cheap, you can't buy it as gift for that price, you will have to pay the base price. And with that change gog lifted the blocked gifting.

I am glad myself. She has always been good at keeping an eye on me as I do tend to have an adventurous nature. I never intend to do things I should not, but I guess I am a little too free willed sometimes for my own good. But luckily we have each other to balance things out. :-)

Sadly the world is full of nasty people who are just full of nastiness. These people often like to make others suffer due to their own short comings and bitter lives. Nothing that I will let get to me too much, and definitely nothing that I will let ruin my life.

I can understand that, and it would stop people from the former Soviet states abusing the gifting system. And as I pay more anyway it is not like it effects me. Thank you for letting me know.

Okay...now that I'm finally done with Arkham Origins (and fuck you so very much, game, right in your contemptible godsdamned eye), I am going to play something good.

On deck -

Pony Island
Downfall
Cat Lady
Downfall Redux
Outlast
Noctropolis

After that, it's Wadjet time along with Tales of Maj'eyal.

Feel free to tell her random weirdo guy from the internet sends his thanks. ;)

True. Want me to come over and break their kneecaps and elbows? They might have some time for introspection regarding the problems inherent in being fuckwits while their joints heal.
I can start saving money for a plane ticket...>=)

I will be sure to do that. :-)

That is nice of you, but no need. I am sure my family would do that for me if I wanted that. But they are not worth anyone getting into trouble over, I would hate to see some nice person in jail while they are free to keep being jerks. I don't think people like them will change.

And in regards to your list of games, I have only played Outlast so far, which I really liked. I own all of them except Pony Island and Downfall Redux, but I have not played them yet.

-grumbles- Yeah, you're right, unfortunately. A lot of people never gain the self-awareness to realize that what they're doing is wrong.

Started playing Pony Island previously. It's very enjoyable. Just wiped out my save so I can go through the whole thing from the beginning, this time without getting distracted.

I can't say I really like Pony Island, not really my kind of game. But I know many people seem to really like it, and it is nice to see it on GOG. I have seen a few games like it recently, possibly all trying to cash in on the current phase.

Well I will be calling it a day. I hope you have a good day and that you have fun with your games, there definitely does not seem to be any terrible games on the list, for a change. :-)

Take care, Mr Crow!

Seems like a bit of a rarity, doesn't it...-laughs-

Have a good night, sleep well when you get there. =)

I spent hours chewing through filler for worthless XP, and the huge collectible side quest ended with nothing but the designers essentially stating, "We are such miserable, creativity devoid hacks that we're not even going to give you anything resembling a satisfying conclusion."
Add to that the game's mediocre ending and the repetitive, ridiculous fighting that led up to it, and I stand by my previous statement - that game had THREE MINUTES of quality.
That's it.

Fuck them.

Hello Frederites! Gosh am I having fun today, is it by any chance National Stupid Day?
Lawyer, doctor, insurance company and the boss, all brain damaged, sheesh.

Hope all of you are doing well. Beware the stoopid peeple. :-)

Well there is a reason it's considered the weakest Arkham game (not counting Arkham Knight). I liked the Crime Scene stuff though...
I'm curious...which three minutes are you referring to - or do you only mean three minutes in general?
