superstande: Alright, thanks! Maybe there will be another sale soon for it. A good Batman game sounds like fun :)
ElTerprise: Well they are all good (haven't played the trainwreck Arkham Knight though) with Arkham Origins being the weakest imho. Both City and Origins suffer from a boring and dull open world. Hey have you seen the new release ;)

superstande: Ah yeah, that can happen with series... After Torchlight (hopefully there's not much of that left) I'm really ready for something with lots of story, or at least a very very good game :)
Hey have you seen the new release ;)
Well i guess Torchlight II would be good then ^^ - a pity that it's not here yet.... Hey have you seen the new release ;)
Yep. Was an instabuy for me :D

So stupid question time (silly person, there are no stupid questions ... just the stupid people that ask them! ;) ) ...
How "hard" can I push on my home monitor before I have to worry about dead pixels? I noticed some "schmutz" on there this morning. I lightly dust it but how much pressure can it take? I'm being super paranoid and I'm thinking like anything beyond the barely there wipe I usually give it will kill off a few pixels.

You're much more likely to scratch the plastic then you are to kill pixels. How "hard" can I push on my home monitor before I have to worry about dead pixels? I lay mine down face up and drag a microfiber rag over it, the rag gets dampened with a mild cleaner such as screen cleaner, eyeglass cleaner or a non-ammonia glass cleaner.
The shiny screens don't scratch as easily as the non-glare type.
You can do it with it standing up but it's a royal pain that way.

Been thinking about that sometimes too. I would guess the dead pixel thing happens more likely if there's anything very sharp or pointy pushed against the surface with force. My screen has been poked a few times with fingers but nothing permanent has resulted from that. But the wiping thing is probably what the screens are made to work with best. Ah, also I think there was some kind of official warning that came with this laptop somewhere saying it would be best to unplug the power cable when wiping the screen, but that might be just for laptops of course :)

Argh no way... Ironically I started T1 because I wanted to get to T2, which had some cool looking stuff in it. Now there's no place on Earth far away enough I can get from Torchlight 2 :P ... but seriously, this is just me talking from where I'm standing. Yep. Was an instabuy for me :D
haha... this game has instabuy written all over it :) ...also makes for a great gift... ;)

Ixamyakxim: Great thanks - "microfiber" ? - I was going to use the nice soft thing that came with a pair of sunglasses - this is probably the same thing yes? I lay mine down face up and drag a microfiber rag over it

I wish I knew what was on mine. One looks like a bit of a rub with a finger (I probably tried to "move" an existing smudge). The other 4 - 6 are like a residue of some sort. I made the mistake of attempting to eat a grapefruit at my home computer once - will never do that again - after like two abortive dips of the spoon and significant spray I'm saying "What the hell are you doing - go eat at the table" - but that isn't what caused these - but it sure looks like something in that vein.

This is the first time I've ever seen EVERYONE I know offline at the same time!
This is so cool, I'm declaring myself the omnipotent leader of Fred. Bwah ha ha!
On another note, GOG has had a great week for releases. :-)
