Empress_Owl: Hey Hello DD !! :))
Glad to see you back here !
**Big hug**
Hello, lovely Owl! *big hug with extra hugs to make up for the hugs I was not able to give while I was away*

I am not sure how often I will be online for a while, but I will try to be online more often and it is nice being back chatting to the lovely people of Fred.

How is your Monday?

*big hug*

ddickinson: Are you at least over the worst of it now? *big hug*
Yes it looks like that *big return hug*

avatar
AgentBirdnest: It's about gogdamn time!! That's good to hear!
*continued healing hug*
Indeed and thank you *big thank you hug*
avatar
ddickinson: So you deny the beer but not the porn... interesting. :-)

I have not really played Harvest Moon, but my partner likes those games. But they do have their faults, which this game seems to try to improve on and add to. When I first saw it I thought GOG was allowing RPG maker games on here, but apparently the one developer made all the graphics and things from scratch.

*big hug*
Well, if the porn is naked people made of construction paper, then I'd be guilty :"p ... otherwise, it must be someone else's (I'm betting on Moon :-))
Speaking of "someone else's" ... Where do you put the apostrophe in that? I get a red spellcheck line underneath it when I type it that way.

I thought it was an RPG maker game too... Very interesting that it was made from scratch. I noticed that it had been in development since at least 2012. Quite a lot of time was put into it.

*big hug with random flowers*

Do you have anything nice planned for the week?

Construction paper porn? O_O
So you are saying all the other porn is Moons? I think someone will be in trouble when she reads that. :-)
(I think you did it correctly. And "Someone Else's" does not set of my spellcheck. Maybe you Americans changed the spelling for some silly reason. :-))

I think the last game I played by a single developer was Dust And Elysian Tail, which I really loved, and you could see the effort and love put into the game.

Thank you for the lovely flowers. :-)

*bit thank you hug*

Aside from having to read a book some articles for a paper not much as of yet. What about you?

I will probably just be doing some things around the house, and maybe have some nice walks since I am now up to taking short strolls now and then as my health is improving a little, although I am still having my bad days and things are not improving as quickly as I would like them to. I am able to read more which is great. I still can't read for too long, but I have missed being able to just relax with a book.

Hey, why not? Don't judge. Everyone has their thing, and mine is construction paper :-p
Yeah, I'm sure I'm going to be thrown in the oubliette for that one... (I was just kidding, Moon!! Sorry!! ,'','',',',',:-|)
But why would we need to change the spelling? There are no "u"s! Is it really spelled "soumeone eulse's" or something o__O?

I don't remember the last game I've played by a single developer... Fran Bow was made by two people. Lumino City is 2 or 3. VVVVVV was developed by one guy, but the music was done by someone else, so I'll count that :-)

True, I just hope you keep it American and have it about a pizza delivery guys. :-)
Let's hope she forgive you. Who knows, she might even take away all your peanut butter.

And who knows how you spell things now, you 'Mericans are a weird bunch. Maybe you are taking the Ss and changing them to Zs like you have done with other words? :-) *big silly hug*

I have not played Fran Bow yet, but I did like Lumino City. You can could games that have help, like with music and voice actors and things. Most single person teams need help with things to make their game good (Dust had help with the sounds and voice acting and things).

Sounds nice. Good to hear that you're able to some walks and some reading. Well at least you're health is increasing which the most important thing *big hug* :)

That is true, I think that I am just eager to do more things now I am able to do a little more than I can. Which is something I need to be careful about as if I push myself too much it can result in a big set back and things getting worse.

Yes that's true - but it is more than understandable that you want to do more :)
Any recommendations on the Staff Picks this week?

At least I might be able to kind of go back to work for a few days here and there soon. I will not be working exactly, just keeping someone company and helping if I can. That way I get to do a bit more and there is someone there to make sure I don't overdo things and to keep an eye on me. I doubt I will be able to do anything much at the moment, maybe just spend some time keeping the animals company, but it will just be nice to get out of the house for a while and see my lovely animals again as I have been missing them. :-(

Haven't looked at the Staff picks so far. Don't look too bad. Cannot really give you recommendations though as i haven't played much of those i own from the promo.

That sounds really good :)

No worries, I just thought I would ask in case any of the other regulars were interested. There are two or three that look interesting, but none that are a must have for me.

Oh, I didn't realize that we did that ;-)

Papers, Please !! One developer, and I think he even did the music. Apparently Banished was a single person as well. Very impressive.
