Stilton: That'll be the Joker being his usual pain in the butt self. I played the first Batman to come out on Windows (Arkham something or other) and enjoyed it until a recognised (except by me) ATI graphic glitch screwed any further progress. I'm an Nvidia man now, so I should go back and have another swipe at it. It was enjoyable if a little repetitive in the combat sections. Punch/jump or jump/punch were the two options, I think.
If it's Arkham Asylum, that's definitely worth you going back to. If it's City, it's all right, but a hugely padded timekiller.

Combat is all about timing and combos. It starts very simple, but gets a bit better when you start upgrading, getting special moves and using your gadgets during fights to drop people.

Stilton: You're sounding fragile, there... but thoughtful - if Sneeze MkII™ was deployed, I think it worked. :-) Pressure is currently reducing.. (or my unborn foetus is going to sleep).

And a broken tongue hurts - I fractured mine once while trying to kiss a particularly vivacious Italian girl. That'll teach me.
Good to hear! Let's hope it keeps getting better! :-)

Kissing is a pretty dangerous sport. Before they were married, my mom tried to kiss my dad, was scooting closer to him on the sofa, fell, and dislocated her little finger. The finger still randomly pops out a few times per year >__o

It was Asylum, that's right. The overall ambiance was the thing I remember most - it did a good job of making me appreciate how great it must be to dress in a weird costume and go around clobbering large gents with anatomically outrageous physiques. For its time the graphics were pretty hot, too - always important when getting into anything DC or Marvel, I think.

Sounds like nerve damage. Not fun at all.

I could always try for an explosive fart, but I think I might hurt myself.

Sentimental reminders are always a nice thing to look back on, even if they're dislocated little fingers. I hope there's more pleasure than pain whenever it 'pops'.
Okay, let's see if the forum is now eating my posts...

As I tried to say before the forum ate it, Asylum's a good game in general. The boss fights aren't great, but everything else makes up for it.

Talking of sentimental reminders, here's a pleasantly contemplative pic of my daughter when she was slightly larger than microscopic....

Well especially the Scarecrow sequences were awesome - particularly the one that broke the fourth wall :)

Good evening everyone :)

I hate when that happens.

It was a good game overall with the right kind of atmosphere for the subject. It felt a little too dumbed down at times, but I'd happily go back for another dose. There's a lot to be said for dark and tormented.. :-)

Is yours the last of the forum colds? It seemed there were quite a few recently.

I've been managing a painful gut for the last few days (weeks). Its the continuation of my long relationship with IBS and there seems little rhyme or reason to it. At least I'm learning the best coping strategies, which is a positive.

Must be all the peanut butter making me extra-gooey ;-)

Depends on how detailed of an answer you'd like :-p ... How many words? 1? 8? 221?
