yeah I see it now... at launch the reviews were utterly horrible. It might be a different story now, but I think X1-X3 are more of a safe bet. Too bad - the trailer was so nice...

Question all - I'm not interested in it but I've been asked if Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion has sound issues? I *thought* I vaguely remember someone in here (maybe even ElT?) dabbling in this one?

The video game idea sounds good to me. Installing Pony Island now, got a nice list of recommendations from Tom yesterday that I'll be digging through after that.

Same here, but what you said previously was accurate. Their site's getting buried at the moment. Guess they weren't expecting quite so many people to be interested.
Saw people complaining that they didn't let Humble do the distributing, but I can't blame them. Book files are small, very easy to pass around. They could get viciously screwed if they just put that much stuff out there with no protection whatsoever.
Think I'm going to focus on getting the core book from the site, however long that takes. After that, waiting a couple days won't be any kind of actual inconvenience since the core book's so frigging big that it'll take a bit to begin to absorb all the information anyway.

Exhausting. I had to finish some kind of a diary for the R seminar i had .... i weas terribly unfocused and unconcentrated and thus pretty slow. I guess it tookt at least twice the time it should've taken.....oh well but i finished it nonetheless :)

No idea why it's lite yet. I'll give it a look.
