Well... There are different things playing into it. I don't like the combat system. I hate having to look after this huge party of characters. And the isometric view is not exactly helping ;-)

Just read that the company making so many visual novels will be porting more games to PC in the future.
I might get my shot at some serious torture without having to buy a handheld after all.

Speaking of pain, I'm sitting on a 12 hour headache on top of getting more and more annoyed that my keyboard doesn't want to work properly. (I know, I shouldn't have punched it four or five times, but it deserved it. Honest.)

Well... I could certainly recommend something, but the problem is: What type of game (first person shooter preferred?) and you've played so many games already, so I don't know which you already have completed...
I see, you prefer to hit something, when you click, and not just give orders to hit something. I can relate to that, it's more gratifying ;-)
You might enjoy Two Worlds 2 and Divinity 2 - both are not "the best games ever", but definitely worth it when they are on sale. Two Worlds 2 for the soundtrack alone, IMO.
