Indeed.
But were you able to save your data or is it lost? Happened to me once when one HDD in my old computer died.

Nope all lost will have a lot of redownloading to do when I get it
darn, Pimp, hope you are on your way up from now on...

browsing Fred with a phone must be taxing. I just spent some time here with a Playstation Vita while I was doing the trains earlier. Man... Even though the virtual keyboard is quite big and easy to use, I am afraid a long term use might cause some health issue with my fingers... Not fun on the long run.

I managed to grab a decent pair of headphones from the trip. Only 30 euros and far from hi-fi... But it's my first pair outside the realm of those earplug ones, and it's a real improvement. There's even some bass... I vouch for Pioneer! :P ... But my knowledge of proper headphones includes... only these :)

That is unfortunate but as long as you can re-download everything it's probably not the worst thing which can happen....

AgentBirdnest: So, the peanut butter. I found this product called "STEEM" (unrelated to GOG's competition :-p) when oogling "caffeinated peanut butter". Sounds very intriguing :-)
This should be the official sponsor of GOG.COM !
Just to confuse everybody! :)

... "What Gog is sponsored by Steam? What the hell are you talking about!"
... "Not Steam! Steem!"
... "Yeah, that's what I said, Steam."

Also it's a cool looking advertisement. If I could order some, I would!
...
oh I can, but they charge $27 for shipping :)

Hah I always knew stilettos are evil :D
I hope your ankle will get better fast.
Aww, don't blame my beautiful sparklies! :-)

It happened on Monday morining as I was getting ready to go to work in the office. I was wearing my flat boots when I tripped over. It's much better now than it was, but I can't bend it too much so I can't get the angle to wear the heels.

Empress_Owl: Good afternoon, everybody ! :)
**Big hugs with caramel tea**
I hope you're all spending a nice weekend !
avatar
moonshineshadow: *big return hug* Caramel tea? That sounds interesting. I need to try that *goes to check where I can order some*
Yes, that does sound nice.

My husband bought me a Dolce Gusto machine for Christmas so I've been drinking all different kinds of coffees, caramel Latte Macchiato (also vanilla), chocochino, mocha, etc. but my favourite is their Chai tea latte. I have gone through so many boxes of that since Christmas I'm beginning to think I need an intervention! lol

Ouch! Sorry to hear that. There's nothing worse than losing everything in a hard drive failure. I lost a lot of irreplaceable photos from a trip to Vegas in 2006 when my 4 month old laptop decided it didn't like it's hard drive anymore. Acer were fine to replace it under warranty but wanted to charge me full price for the broken drive so that I could try to recover my own data! I couldn't take the drive out before I sent the laptop for repair or it would've invalidated the warranty. :-(

On the plus side, there's nothing better than a nice, clean system to start installing all your favourite games and programs on.
