Yezemin: So, now that they're actually here. What do you think of the Staff Picks?

Oh, and *hello Agent hugs with hot chocolate*
avatar
GreenDamsel: I'll finally get Hotline Miami 2^^
That's nice.^^

It's not really my cup of tea though. I got the first one for Secret Satan and have yet to download it. Somehow I can't bring myself to do so.

Just took a look at them all. Not bad.
I've played Psychonauts and Jazzpunk for about an hour each (I get distracted easily and move on to other games :-p) They were pretty fun and funny, and I plan to finish them sometime™. Lovely Planet is a twitchy shooter - kinda fun for a few minutes before it becomes insanely aggravating.
Dropsy looks interesting, but doesn't really jump out at me too much. The only one that does that is Deadly Premonition, which has quite a nice price ô__ô !

Anything look particularly interesting to you?

Ha, thanks! *big return hug, and shares the hot chocolate*

moonshineshadow: *big good morning hug* How are you doing today?
avatar
AgentBirdnest: *happy Moonday hug* ;-)
I'm doing pretty well. My medication has been very nice to me for a few days now, so I'm in a really good mood that nobody (except ElT) can ruin. Go ahead! try to ruin my mood. It won't work! :-)
How about yourself?
*big hug* Why would I want to try to ruin your mood? That would be just mean.
Doing ok here, could be better but could be worse ;-)

GreenDamsel: [...] I might actually check out on Giants: Citizen Kabuto.[...]
Ultimate General: Gettysburg is by fat the most uninteresting scenario I can imagine^^. I'm sorry Americans, but the Civil War is totally overhyped as a conflict. So many more interesting ones in the history of mankind.
You got the free copy of Giants, right?

Regardless of what the conflict is - I really love cannon and musket line-battles in games. Makes for some really fun strategy for me :-) Empire: Total War wasn't bad in that department either.

They're mostly not my cup of tea, unfortunately. The only one that's mildly interesting to me is indeed Dropsy. But I would have to play that as a horror game due to my coulrophobia and I'm not really in the mood for horror games right now.

Deadly Premonition has a nice Twin Peaks vibe to it. But I hear it's quite buggy. I'm always a little torn on it.

Just for some fun. Haven't you ever wanted to just beat the living crap out of someone, with no consequences and no hard feelings? :-p
*big better hug*

No, not really :D

superstande: Good morning and thank you, Tom & Yezemin and Damsel ;)
Hope you don't catch any (more) colds nor bugs!

GreenDamsel: And what games are you playing lately? MIght need some recommendations for Wednesday.
Ah.. had some work to do..
... you already got good tips, I guess.
Alpha Centauri is amazing once you understand some basic rules.
And you'll also get the add-on Alien Crossfire if you get it from gog.

For me it's Xcom (the new one) - playing the Enemy Within mode which has some lovely goodies thrown in the mix.
After that probably continuing Eye of the Beholder 2 - quite a relaxing game.

Also thanks to Endre ... I have civs 3-5 that I have never played before... quite interested in those.

Sounds like all of the denizens of Fredville are OK or on the mend today, excellent.

Greetings, sir Endre!
*grabs a bug spray, just in case there's still some around*

I'll just spray this into my mouth, right...?

How's your day happening?

Got into a quite challenging tactical battle in Xcom...
I was thinking on the lines, "Hey, this is not fair! ...Their weapons are... as good as mine!"

You have never played Terror from the Deep, right? :-D
Hey you! Yeah, you! Quit making it rain! I mean, I do love rain but this is just too much! Well I'm up anyway, time to make some good ol' ramen noodles for breakfast...and lunch...and dinner...it's good to be the queen.

How is everybody?
Good morning/afternoon/evening, everyone.

Hopefully the week's starting off well for you all.

I would be in for ramen for dinner, if you have any left over ;-)

First I'm actually feeling not outright bad. \o/

I should be in the kitcher washing those pesky dishes that don't like the dishwashing machine, but right now I'm sitting here enjoying a nice cool beer. I love beer, but the last few days I felt so sick I couldn't even have that...
I've been lurking here or playing Rebel Galaxy all day.

How are you?
