I'm tired. I went to bed late and woke up early today.
And with that I bid you adieu.
I still haven't gotten Warband... let's see how close I can cut it!

I hope you all have a lovely day, and a great weekend! Take care.
*hugs and waves*
But does she? o_O :-)
Glad to hear you are doing fine. I am not too bad, been a long day and a few things not so good, but over all nothing to complain about (except maybe me being tired of this bloody coughing :-)). I did not get my results, sadly, but apparently they will definitely be on my doctors desk on Monday so I will go see her then.
Goodnight, Mr Crow!
For crying out loud...fingers crossed that the results are there since they couldn't get them to you today.
Have a good night, sleep well, get to feeling better. (With no coughing.) =)

This game does an excellent job of chewing through time. Turn it on, bounce from side job to side job, and before you know it a few hours are gone.

Wish I could find something like it to play. Currently in one of those netherworlds between 'what shall I play?' and 'why the hell can't I decide?'

I don't know. What's alarming is the amount of games I load and then uninstall because of a 'Ahh, that looks like too much hard work', kind of feel. My brain must be atrophying, or I really am the lazy bastard my school teachers always said I was... Something with a decent story and a mildly festive feel, if that's at all possible. To define this last completely subjective quality, it could mean cozily enjoyable, outright good fun, or with a bit of snow here and there. See what I'm up against? Its no wonder I can't get my head around what to have a go at.

Overall I highly recommend Divinity II! It's a great game, and it's a real shame that it's overlooked.
pardon, my head decided to go offline. dammit, that was rather sudden.
thanks for the information... I am quite interested in Gothic 1 and 2. Maybe I'll get them from The Other Side. I might not come back same though, just warning you all ;)
Divinities - I have completed the DD1. It was an excellent game, a rare gem, and something I can also recommend.
D2 - completed the main game and that was also lovely. Too bad I can't find myself replaying games much, especially epics. I'm still in the expansion's last mission, where you escort a zeppelin. Actually rage-uninstalled the game because the damn zeppelin got destroyed all the time. But other than that, it was good.

Installed around 60 horror-type games, and what am I playing instead? Saints Row 3.
If you want something with snow and a story that doesn't involve huge amounts of thinking, Icewind Dale is coming to mind. One big dungeon crawl in a wintery setting. There's a bit of a learning curve, but it isn't too bad.

Planescape is also based on it, but the interface is unique. None of the other Infinity Engine games have it set up the way that one does.
The tricky thing would be immediately shifting from Icewind 1 to Icewind 2. Icewind Dale 1 is based on 2nd edition AD&D while Icewind Dale 2 is based on 3rd. There are substantial changes to the mechanics across the board because of that. But, the games all have extensive manuals that explain the different gameplay aspects.
