I'm not so good with the yelling, but it's worth a try every now and then. When I lived in a loft downtown, my lady's truck was broken into once in the middle of the night. I pushed open my bedroom window and was looking right down at the guy hanging into her truck, in the process of stealing her portable cd player (the only thing that was even in there.) I wanted so badly to be able to yell convincingly, and I really did try. "Get the **** out of there!" in the deepest, most "masculine" voice I could conjure up. Apparently I wasn't very convincing, as he crawled out, looked up laughing, gave me the finger, and strolled off. Not sure what went wrong, I was certain I sounded so very menacing...

I'm doing quite well this morning! Having a pretty sick morning physically, but I'm in a great mood, had a great night, got my new turntable installed (merry xmas to me!) and am just hoping this nausea will fade by the time Sarge is up and ready to get going today, as I'm looking forward to some puppy dance parties. Pretty sure that's why he's still tuckered out at 9am... we gave the turntable a serious trying-out last night, and he had a bit of a late night as a result. :)
