AgentBirdnest: I like the colours too. Very calm, unlike my bright red hat :-)
I chose my avatar because it reminds me of my grandfather, who was a US Ranger in WW2. I was not fortunate enough to meet him, but I like to keep little reminders of him around - like my avatar, a tattoo, and even my middle name :-) It helps me feel as if I do know him, in a very strange way that I can't quite explain... [/sappy] :-)

Sounds very lovely. Hearing about it makes me smile a little more :-) (Is there such thing as "too much smiling"? :-))
I remember us talking about your grandfather. Mine was a commando during the war, but like you I never got to meet him. I do have his Gurkha knife, which was given to him by some Nepal Gurkhas after he and some other commandos fought with the Gurkhas for a time during the latter years of the war.

I am not sure. But smiling too much definitely sounds better than frowning too much.

NoNewTaleToTell: Redemption is its own game, the only relation it has to Bloodlines is being set in the same universe, so you can safely skip it.

By the way, if you do play Bloodlines, don't pick Nosferatu or Malkavian for your first playthrough. Both have very unique playthroughs that are best appreciated after you're already familiar with the game. That said, Malkavians have (in my opinion) the funnest playthrough, so if you're only going to play the game once (booo, hiss, etc) then that would be my recommendation.

It's very rare that I play any RPG only once. I tend to start a second run immediately after finishing the first.

*Oogling "Gurkha knife"* Awesome! I have a machete that my grandfather carried in The Philippines. It's so cool to be able to hold a piece of history in your hands that is attached to your ancestors.

Good grief... I need more closet space. A Liberty Stripper costume, an alligator costume, now a dog? +__+
