So, since I won't be here for Endre's birthday, which one of you will make sure he gets his cake with the stripper nurse inside? :-)
AgentBirdnest: I think you are absolutely right. It seems like adventure games have been easier over the last 13.78 years or so. Around the time everything was turning to 3D maybe? I dunno.
Personally, I prefer the easier modern ones. Wadjet Eye games usually aren't too hard or too easy for me (except Gemini Rue, which pisses me off :-p)
3D adventure games? That is just silly, everyone knows the best ones are 2D. Just look at the Broken Sword games. :-)
I think a fine balance is needed, or a difficult level that the player can set? I guess it depends if you want a challenging game with a nice story attached, or a nice story with a little gameplay attached.
ElTerprise: Thank you *big hug*
Are you feeling a bit better health wise this evening?
Sadly not, but it's okay, I still had a lovely evening. :-)
CarrionCrow: You're remembering correctly. It first came out for that console, the main character can slide and has a sword.
I'm playing the newest version of it. Was referring to the absolutely atrocious NES version of it earlier.
That is about all I can remember about it. I am not sure if it was a good game or not. A new version? Is it still a 2D side scroller, or have they made it 3D?
