l0rdtr3k: It's a stye that got infected. Now I'm on eye drops, anti septics and cleaning up with tap water.
Doc's gave 3 days until it heals.
At least it is nothing too serious, and hopefully in a few days it will be feeling a lot better. *get well soon hug*

ElTerprise: Good evening everyone :)

My job appointment this evening was shorter than expected....because the overhead wiring along the rails was hit by a limb of a tree....

How are you all doing?
Good evening, ELT!

Doing reasonably good here. How are you?

Stilton: They seem to be gravitating towards what is a pretty stable format - long periods between each changeover, a decent mix of bundles and individual games, some old, some new. Whatever it is, I'll be happy. :-)
I was never that keen on the insomnia format, although I did love the feel of the community during the insomnia sale, but that was back when this place was a lot more friendly, so I am not sure if it would be the same these days.

Stilton: Hi Elt, doing well here.

Hope you haven't been spending hours in a dark stationary train...
Glad to hear that.

Thankfully that wasn't the case. The train stopped the first station outside of Hamburg which still has a urban train connection. It took more time than usual but i got home that way :)

The first insomnia was really enjoyable, but towards the end way too draining. And they needed something to interrupt the stagnation of the really slow sellers. And one game on sale at a time isn't a good idea.

On the friendly note, I tend to spend 95% of my time here, if not more. There's a good crowd of people who get on and are happy to keep doing so. If it ain't broke, don't fix it...

Ah yes, those lovely times when the same game was there for hours, and all those fake reviews. :-)

I was referring to the forum in general, for the most part our little thread is still a lovely place.

Here's how it started:Netflix+Mad Men+weekend.

Good evening, Mr Crow!

My weekend has been very nice, excluding a few things and people. How are you? Are you looking forward to the next sale in a few days? :-)

I have, thank you. Nothing too fancy, just a nice fun and relaxing weekend.

When do your studies end for the Christmas holidays?

Things are good here. The PC's working again and life in general is good.

How's it with you? Any rowdy gangs of cows around?

That sounds really lovely :)

At the 20. December with a 3-day weekend seminar.....i'm not kidding... -.-

Can't complain here. Impatient for the GOG sale, thinking that least a few list items could show up. Killing time downloading a large stack of rentals as I wait out those 2 and a half days or so.

Glad to hear you've been having a good time, despite those things and people you mentioned.
Okay, its hay-hitting time here. Sleep well all, have fun, and play some games :-)

Tech support...yay. Always some of the most miserable shit to deal with.

Doing all right here. Just grabbed a ton of rental games to play so I'm not climbing the walls as I cold turkey my way out of smoking. Now I just need the roommates to actually go on their vacation rather than delaying it continually. It is frigging impossible to quit when you've got people around who still do it.

Was just about to give you playful grief about sleeping early, but rest is good when you can get it.
Have a good night, sleep well. =)

Trying to not curse at my rental client too much as it takes its sweet time.

A 3 day seminar, on a weekend, less than a week before the holiday? That sounds like a big pile of crap to contend with right before you get a break.
