I've been craving something in the mystery/detective department lately. But as I go through the catalog, I notice all the space games that I want n__n I should play at least one that I already have before getting some more though. My space games are severely underplayed.

It's another one of those "good deals, no energy" sales.
Not thrilled to say it, but I'm liking the rental store's current idea. Put it all out there, let people dig through, get what they want then call it done.

huh... as your make-belief cyclops hobbit doctor, may I suggest that you take a very long break. About a year should do it :)
But I guess it's understandable to want to go and try to beat a more difficult level, to see how far you can push it.
I'm doing something of the sort with wasteland 2. Things get really hard when I try to go through some side quests that are clearly meant for higher level characters, or characters with better combat skill... yet I want to try different ways to do the battles...

It's frustrating with or without, I think. Without, you go too slowly. With, you go too fast. Both ways get you killed.
-laughs- Can't take quite that long of a break. Would like to beat the game within a month or two.

Understandable, different approaches make things more interesting. When you're virtually invincible, every route will lead to just crushing opponents.
