Agreed. Will definitely buy that one if it shows up here.
Also waiting impatiently for Starcrawlers to be done.

Master of Orion is the one that excites me but that'll be a while yet.
On another note I just found a good Sci-Fi RPGMaker game, that's unusual to say the least.

Edit: Inserted word 'good'. :-)

More than anything, I just wish the people running the sales would put their cards on the table already so I could budget this crap out.

After today's episode of not being able to find a game, on my own machine, that I knew I'd just played my desire for more has been dampened a bit.
I now officially have/own/rent more games than GOG has in their catalog. I might want to start thinking of playing some of them. :-)

-laughs- Sounds familiar. Going to be taking a break from large-scale buying for a while after the year ends.

I have a few at the other place that are things that have sat on my wishlist for a while. One thing I have to hand to them though is it's a helluva lot easier to keep track of your stuff there. Maybe when Galaxy is more solid the same thing will apply here.

It's much more compact, much easier to see everything in one shot. I know GOG went with what they figured was best at the time, and it's certainly better than what it used to be (for crying out loud, my library page wouldn't load half the time then, and that was hundreds of games ago), but it could still use some efficiency optimization.

My only real problem with GOG is how you have to run around to 20 different places to gather info about the items.
Some of it is onsite provided by other users, some by GOG, and some of it is only available offsite.
Drives me a bit more nuts than I already am. :-)

Yeah, it's a bit of a mess in that sense, to be sure. And the more games you add, the messier it all gets.

But like you said, there's some long-term hope that Galaxy will become that all-in-one resource that anyone with a library of any considerable size needs.
